She is now out of surgery, just heard from her mom. It was a bad connection but I did hear that it took over 3 hours and is now in recovery. She is doing well now. Thanks for supporting her everyone!

Thanks for the update! I always get so excited for others when they have surgery now. I always feel like I am going through it again.

Doesn't it always feel like another victory for 'our side'? It makes me so happy at support group when we do the round table discussion and people introduce themselves as just having been approved or just having gotten their surgery date. It is so very hopeful!
