multivitamin (has 6 cals and 2 carbs) Lean pockets Philly steak 12 oz. Perfectly protein drink (has fruit juice, so HIGH in carbs) "pigs in a blanket" made with FF turkey dogs & RF crescent rolls 8 oz. NSA LF Choc. milk 2 small chicken wings (roasted) 1 cup grapes 1 grape tomato, 4 leaves of lettuce, 1 baby carrot, 1 pea pod cals- 1038, fats- 33, carbs- 132, protein 52 Not that great of a day, but I was mostly on the go. Protein should have been higher...carbs are higher than *I* like, but are required. As far as movement. I've not gone to the gym since finding out I was pregnant...mostly due to morning sickness. Now that I'm feeling better, I've made it a priority that I will go. I went today, and feel darn good about it.

Melissa and all December babies!!! The reason I don't post is because I am at work usually and time is a premium. I have a little time right now so I will say that in general I eat a modified Adkins - lots of meat and veggies and don't count calories or fat. I don't get enough milk/cheese in I'm sure. I use the New Whey bullets and take lots of vitamins. I don't eat the "whites" - sugar, flour, bread, rice, pasta and potatoes. I don't dump but pretend that I do so I will avoid carbs!!! I drink too much caffienated coffee and not enough plain water. I also use Tropicana SF Orangeade and love it. I try to eat sensibly but also want to learn to eat like a thin person - not a food addict. I make myself measure out snacks so I don't eat the whole bag but I do occasionally have a bite of cookie or tiny piece of 85% dark chocolate. But I think the key is occasionally and tiny piece. I eat lots of SF popcicles. DH and I eat out one night a week and breakfast on Saturday and I am still losing about 1/2 to one pound per week. I walk 1/2 hour four times a week. Tonight when we go out we are going to Ruby Tuesday's and I will eat the salad bar with two mini burgers and fries. However, I'll eat one mini burger without the bun, salad bar with low cal ingredients, 3 or 4 fries and take the other burger and rest of the fries home for DH to eat tomorrow for lunch. Works for both of us. He's lost about 20 pounds since my surgery - mostly not eating the "whites" himself. I don't think I eat badly but I am not perfect. I think in my head that I'll add yogurt or milk and then I do it for a couple of days and go back to my tried and true meat!!! I do post quite a lot on the Missouri board and I can tell you that it is usual for three or four members to do most of the posting and replying. We have a very active board but still we see the same people most of the time. That's OK because the number of people *****ad it and get good information is astronomical. So, keep up the good work and know that you're providing a service to many who never respond. Hugs and love, Lana

Hi Lana, Thanks for posting this! I think you have a very healthy way of looking at your lifestyle postop. You know you aren't perfect, you don't beat yourself up over it. But most of the time you do really well and you still are very successful b/c of it. Good for you. I will keep posting as I am getting the feedback it is helping everyone and I am greatful for that! Thanks so much, hugs and love back atcha! ~Melissa

I log everything on fitday.com It does a pie chart that shows you the percentage of each category - fats (breakdown of all fats poly, mono and sat), carbs and fiber, protein etc. Is this what you use to keep track of your calories? If so, it is on there! Hope this helps!
