What did ya eat and how did ya move today? - Monday
Hello All! Did ya have a good weekend? I had a good weekend but I am enjoying relaxing today. After working last weekend leaving to go out of town for the week right away and then working again this weekend I am pretty exhausted but I don't have much in the way of anything planned this week other than scheming for this years family Halloween Party (menu and games ideas - got some great magazines with really cute fun things to make for adults and kids!) and putting treat bags together for the trick or treaters, of course the couple trips to the gym and may make some more pumpkin protein muffins, love those! Still have plenty of Molly's pumpkin protein bars as I made a double batch a long time ago so I am good there. Supposed to rain all week so these will be good projects for me!
Ok enough rambling, so how did ya do today with food and movement? Please share with the group!!!
B: Atikins Peanut Butter Granola Bar on the way home from work. When I got home I had 3 SF Mt. Olive baby, No sugar added pickles (sweetened with splenda). These little suckers have been wonderful for me when I have crunch and salty cravings for 5 cals!
L: Grilled Asian Chicken Salad (homeade). 1 cup romaine, 1 oz low fat cheese shredded, chopped red onion, 3 oz of grilled chopped chicken breast with 2 tbsp of low fat Newmans Sesame Ginger dressing with a sprinkle of "salad toppings".
S: Plan on making a pumpkin frap. Using Light vanilla soy milk, couple tbsp of canned pupmpkin, pumpkin SF syrup, pumpkin spice, splenda and ice. Top with light whipping cream - 80 cals total.
D: Not sure yet?
S: EAS Cafe Caramel Shake.
Sundays and Mondays are my rest days from exercise. Back at it tomorrow. Planning on either running here on the treadmill or going the they gym. See what the day brings me.
Tomorrow is weigh in day, I am hoping for good numbers for all of us!
Hi! Busy day at work and then I had to take my son to a hair appointment so it got me away from food a lot longer than usual. Yeah! Yesterday I preplanned the whole day with sparkpeople and have done very well sticking to it. The only extra I've thrown in so far has been a rice cake. Woohoo! Here it is:
1) 2 small PK's pumpkin protein 'muffins' cut into chunks and eaten over four hours
--1 1/2 cups nf, sf soy latte
2) 1 dannon diet yogurt, 1/2 cup Special K Protein Plus
3) 1/2 slice PK's meatcrust pizza, 1 homemade bran muffin, 1 T whipped Melissa's frosting
4) 1 pumpkin soy custard
5) rice cake, 1 cup strawberries
6) chicken taco salad: baby spinach, grape tomatoes, 3 oz. chicken taco meat, 1/4 cup salsa, 2 T ff sour cream
calories: 861, carbs: 94, fats: 16, protein: 89
Am hoping for a good weigh-in but I'm already up to 134 from the earlier 132 so I doubt it will be fantastic. After eating this salty taco salad for dinner I'll probably be rewarded with salt bloat tomorrow. haha We'll see! Good luck to us all!
Molly
Hi All! Hope you had a great weekend. Well negotiations are finally over so I can return to normal life - no more food room (it was like the fridge full of your favorite stuff on the biggest loser) and sleeping at work - finally!
So, here is today -
B - 1/2 cup cottage chesse with 1 tsp. SF jam
1 banana
S - 140 cal. South Beach bar
L - 10 oz. soup from work (1/2 broccoi cheddar, 1/23 chicken noodle broth)
1 Pria Complete Nutrition bar (vanilla - very good!) 170 cal, 11 protein, 5 fiber, 7 sugar - very good
s - 1 protein shake
1/2 apple and peanuts eaten together (mmmm)
d - 2 oz. deli ham, mustard and cheese
I feel like I snacked all day instead of eating meals, not too bad considering. I hope to hit 199 this week - I am SO done with 200.
Hope you had a good Monday!
Rebecca
