What did ya eat today and how did ya move...Sunday
Hi, this is late getting posted again today...sorry! Did everybody have a nice weekend? I had a 3-dayer and spent the whole time painting and working on the house. Very busy and productive! Today in addition to the painting and gardening it seemed I was running up and down the stairs three times more than the whole last 3 days combined so that must count for some hill training, you think? hahaha
Felt like I was just putting food in my face everytime I was upstairs today but actually the numbers aren't as bad as I thought they would be. Guess it helps not having disastrous quick food choices on hand.
1) 1 serving egg substitute sauteed with mushrooms and red pepper, 2 thin slices cantaloupe
--a medium-sweet nf, sf soy latte
2) 1 rice cake w/1 T pumpkin butter
3) 1 whole wheat oat pumpkin muffin
4) mini bag popcorn
5) 1/2 cup ff cottage cheese
6) half cup ff refried beans, 1 oz. tortilla chips
7) sf fudgesicle
calories: 941, carbs: 121, fats: 23, protein: 70
The carbs are too high again...I shouldn't have indulged in the refried beans and chips. Especially since I know how smelly it is going to make me. ICK! Gas-X and Acidophilus have not helped, tomorrow I'm going to buy some Beano too. There has to be help for this problem somewhere.
Tomorrow is another long day at work so I'd better read a little more mail and then get read for bed. Hope you all have a great day tomorrow. We are due for one more day of nice weather and then supposedly we have storms stacked up and the weather gets icky. It has been a pretty autumn so far!

Why does it seem like it was a "different Sunday" but the same story from me?
I watched Football all weekend- which means i sat in a chair--which is fine to do from time to time ---but when i am bored like that ---the MUNCHIES (carbs) call to me LOUDLY.........so i have no good news about what i ate in fact i have blocked it all out...I thank Goodness every Monday morning that i get to go to work and back to a routine...........

D: peanuts, lf ham, lf cheese, cc yogurt, couple of chips with french onion dip,
S: more peanuts, saltines
ugh! new day though......here is to a good week!
Dawn, I hear ya there! My only problem with Mondays (and Thursdays) is that being the heaviest workday of the week when I get home all I want to do is sit and eat. Then along comes the Tuesday a.m. weigh-in.
Stopped at Safeway on the way home from work today for milk and also picked up more Special K Protein plus (on special there this week) and a new herbal tea that claims it helps dieters with sugar appetite. Ok, they suckered me in and I'll try it. If it works, I'll post about it.

Hang in there Dawn, we all get these days. I try to make sure the week before my period when I get this way that I have plenty of SF fudgesickles/pudding and popcorn to get me through. It seems to help and I can fit it into my daily specs. I also have a new found love.. Mt. Olive No Added Sugar, sweetened with spelnda sweet pickles.. they are wonderful and basically free foods, 5 cals, 1 carb for 3 baby pickles I think. I have been eating those at the end of the day or when i get home from work rather than indulging in other things and it has been hitting the spot. yes it has sodium but OH well, better than going for fattening stuff. Might give this a whirl! Full of flavor and satisfies that crunch need.
