What did ya eat today and how did ya move...Thursay
Hi Folks! How has your Thursday gone? Did you move those tuschies and eat well? After my big pig-out yesterday I tried to eat much better today and am pleased with the numbers so far. It was another hard day at work and I pushed myself as much as I could so that makes for 8 hours on my feet walking very fast, climbing stairs, lifting, pushing, pulling a lot of heavy things. Here's my eats and numbers:
1) 1 almond protein biscotti bar
2) diet yogurt, 1 sf homemade bran muffin
3) 1 small slice PK's meat crust pizza, 2 oz. chopped chicken w/1 T ff ranch dressing, 1 serving egg substitute (eating leftovers)
-- Starbucks lite frappuccino, 100 cal
4) half serving Melissa's sf apple crunch
5) nice dinner salad: baby spinach, grape tomatoes, four black olives, 4 oz. rotiss. chicken and 1 T ff ranch dressing
calories: 950, carbs: 92, fats: 23, protein: 95
Yeah! The carbs are still high but since I'm trying to maintain I'm not gonna kick myself over it. Oh, and I did have a gain this morning but only up to 135 from that low of 132 so it is still ok.
How did you all do today? I have tomorrow off so I'll be painting again and hopefully gardening too if it isn't rainy. Looks like the red room is going to be finished within a day or two, yeah!!!

Hi, Molly... I could have sworn that I replied here earlier, but it's not here!!!!
Anyway, I put my info under Wed... DUH.. then tried to move it here... no luck.
I added an update about the Tailbone from Hell... My Nutritionist said that it is common and some people get relief by doing Glute exercises (example: hand on floor in dog position, lift leg... repeat) and Kegels. Hope this helps!

Melissa...I eat mixed nuts almost everyday, since I heard that a journal (Neurology?) mentioned that some RNY patients were found to be deficient in copper. In my July Labs, I was mid-normal range on about 1/4 oz daily. How's it going, KC Lady?

My appointment went well yesterday. Yes, the Drs did lower my "goal"; 150 +/- a few lbs instead of 160. I weighed 163 and 163.5 at the appointments; a 27 lb loss over 3 months. I was so surprised when the PA said 27. I said, "27 what?" LOL
My nutritionist is upping my calories toward the 1000 calories level gradually, as I head toward 150#. Maintenance should be around 1100 calories or a bit higher thereafter. I've continued drinking 1/2 oz of Prostat-64 at breakfast and 1/2 oz at lunch for the past few months. My nutritionist OK'd my idea to keep 1 oz Prostat-64 daily; the 1 oz has 60 calories...15 proteins and gives me peace of mind on low protein days.
