Ultrasound results!
We are having ONE!!! I'm so relieved. I have to see my OB a week from Monday to discuss the results. I'm guessing there is some sort of issue though because 3 times the tech asked me if I'd had any spotting...to which I replied no. It was too soon to tell if it's a boy or girl, but I'll be having another u/s done in a month or so. I can relax a bit now, knowing I have only one to nourish...so I'm less freaked out about my daily intake. Thanks again everyone for your support. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Good Morning Shawn, well Yeah! I know that is what you 'ultimately' wanted to hear so I am so very happy for you. I bet you feel very relieved right now, not that two babies wouldn't have been double the blessing. I am really enjoying following your story with this as pregnancy may be in our near future sometime.. next 6-12 months so having you hear is such a great thing for me. Either we do it that way or we adopt, trying to decide. Thanks again for being a great role model for us.. you are doing fantastic! I love watching you and getting your updates, keep em coming!
Thanks Melissa!! Two babies would definitely have been a double blessing and to be honest, I was a little disappointed to hear there was only one...BUT I do know it's really for the best, knowing myself.
I wish you much success in parenting, whichever way you choose. I can honestly say that even with all the stress and hassles, for me, it's definitely worth it. I'm starting to feel a little better. Still VERY tired, but less nauseated, so that's a relief. I'll try to post updates more often.
Yeah, Shawn...I'm glad you are so happy! Don't let them worry you about needing to speak to your OB Monday. A lot of times they just don't want any liability issues from tech's giving people results that they really aren't qualified to be reading.
Thank heavens you don't have to stress so much about your food intake. Sounds like you are doing the best of everything you can regarding food, fluids and rest so everything else will just take care of itself.
A great big hug for you!
Molly

Shawn....WooHoo! Congrats! One Bundle of Lovin'...Bet that made your day...such a relief "nutrition-wise"! A lot less stress on you , Momma! I agree with Molly on the tech's comment. You've been doing so well to ensure your and your babe's health. Proud of you! Ro
