Just checking in...
Hi Ya'll!!
I've been lurking, but haven't had too much time to read and post.
All is well with me; I am getting a hold of the monthly binges - working on eating nutrish vs. whatever-pops-into-my-head. The recipes are giving me options and I appreciate them so much!
Here's my stats as of today:
currently - 166
pre-op - 277
highest - 285
size today - 10 (but I'm wearing 12s because I've been put on shopping probation!)
Ya'll are an awesome group of folks! I will try to get in here soon, I promise.
Glad to hear from you! You are doing awesome, keep up the good work. Sorry about the shopping probation. Sounds like what DH is trying on me. (without a lot of luck) But I just paid this months bills in one fell swoop and the checking account is now battered and bruised so I guess I have to join you in the shopping probation of my own will.
Congratulations on the size 10's! Hope you get to wear some soon!!!
Molly
Hi there,
Good to hear from you. The December board rocks!!! Thanks for your stats, you are doing really well, I know you feel good about your progress.
I think we all understand about being on shopping strike/probation. I have a self-imposed strike cuz I was spending to much on stuff that I was only able to wear a short, short time. People tried to tell me that the sizes would change frequently but I didnt listen, had to find out for myself.
Good luck to you!
Angela
Hi Cordelia!
So nice to see you post. I am happy to hear that your eating is going better. How do you feel physically? Your stats are great! I am on probation too. I put myself on it though. I want so badly to finish school and I have to find a way to pay for it. soooo I am cutting back drastically on things and that includes clothes
I hope we hear from you again soon We miss you here. ~ Terisa
Glad that things are going well for you --I am MAYBE putting myself on shopping probation too....i went to the tailor yesterday to see how much it would cost to "take up" my pants in the waist. I have been wearing the basics (black pant, blue pants, brown pants, grey pants) with as many tops as i can ...but even the buying of the basics pants is becoming costly.......she quoted me $14 maybe if i have her take them up to where they are a bit snug in the waist that would last longer. Just a thought. I also have come up with a winter plan..... i am going to contact all of my friends /family and tell them they MUST donate 1 sweater to me for winter- I will give it back at the end of the season -----dont know how that will go ---but it is just a thought!
Hugs Cordelia--hope to see you around more!
