Twins
Terisa...thank you so much. The classes are important, but I was hesitant to enroll this semester anyway...I should have listened to that instinct.
I go back to see my OB in a week and a half. I'll ask then...but until then, my nutritionist has had me up my iron. My surgeon is happy with my progress and is not too concerned since I still have some extra weight to work with. Vitamins, eating as much as I can, and rest is what's recommended by them. I've already thought of a couple of ways to boost calories and protein. I've got some peanuts and will be adding an extra protein shake to my routine. We'll see how that goes.
I will definitely update tomorrow when I get home. My 10th wedding anniversary is that day, so it might be later in the evening. I don't know if Erik plans on taking me out, or going to school, or which....so we'll see.
I hope things are better with you, I've been thinking of you and praying for you and your family. (((hugs)))) to you all.
I agree Diana...a double blessing for sure. I'm just concerned for the health of the baby(ies) I'm carrying, so I'm stressing out a little. I try not to do it too much because that can be harmful as well. Tomorrow can't come soon enough!! And thank you, your good thoughts and hugs are needed and MUCH appreciated.
Hi,
Twins would be double blessings from God. I can understand you being wiped out, pregnancy by itself will do that, but you are trying to do double work. Have you looked at the pregnancy board here on OH? I know some people who have gotten pregnant after WLS too, its hard but not impossible to get the nutrition you need to take care of you and those precious babies (or baby).
Get some rest and keep us posted on the great news!!
