What did ya eat and how did ya move?
Melissa, where are you tonight? Did I miss something? Well, you are busy and I will start this and then I'm going to bed. It was a 6-hour day at work for me and I put in a lot of steps, felt like more than usual. They are getting ready for another high-level visit next week and they are all panicking so it was a lot of running back and forth on errands for this one and that. As soon as DH gets a job I'm going to get a new pair of shoes! LOL So that was my workout (plus grocery shopping afterwards and i schlepped my groceries instead of using a cart). Here's the eats:
1) lower-cal protein shake, blended
2) 1/2 cup kashi go lean, 100 cal Balance bar
3) 1 chocolate-banana homemade protein bar
4) 1 turkey/cheese rollup, 1 pouch dehydrated apples, 1 millet protein cake
5) sf, nf soy caramel macchiato
6) sf fudgesicle
calories: 791, carbs: 91, fats: 15, proteins: 69
What did you eat today and how in the world are we all going to survive the weekend? I'm headed into a very stressful weekend here at home and have no watermelon! ACK! I do have marinated cukes but they haven't been satisfying me lately and I'm worried about the carb monster whomping me again. Guess I'd just better push the fluids instead.
Sorry Molly! I was gonna post that I wouldn't be around today but I forgot. We left early this morning for the Renniasance festival and then went to Ikea afterwards and so I just got home (its 10pm here). Thanks for doing the eats/move post today, I really appreciate it! Sorry work is kickin your fanny. Hopefully it gets better soon. Good shoes do make all the difference don't they? Hopefully you can get some soon! I did *VERY* good for me considering being on the go all day, I am proud of myself!
B: 1 light n' fit dannon vanilla yogurt with 1/4 cup bare naked peak protein granola and 1/4 cup fresh blueberries (yum!)
L: Went to Wendy's.. I got the ceaser side salad. Ordered a plain chicken breast and cut this up on top. Instead of the ceaser dressing I used 1 tbsp of the low fat ranch!
****I ATE NOTHING FROM RENFEST LADIES! NOTHING! I was so proud of myself***
S: at the renfest I ate my SB 140 calorie cinnamon oatmeal raisin bar (OMG my fav yet!!)
D: At Ikea.. I got the baked salmon and spring veggies (steamed/boiled). SOOO GOOD!
S: Have an EAS shake now - caramel cafe!
We walked I bet between both places at LEAST 5 miles if not more! My cals are basically right on.. so excited!!!
Cals: 1030, fats 33, carbs 77 (ok a bit high but heck i am still proud, 13 was fiber), protein 104 (a lil high) But ya have to admit for such a day, I think I did pretty good!
Those funnel cakes and all that stuff I haven't dared to touch in so long looked so good but I whipped out my fav protein bar right now and ya know what.. i was in heaven with it.. I am so proud of myself! Ok enough bragging on me! Thanks again Molly!
Hi Beatriz! Yep its a Swedish furniture store that also has lots of dishes, kitchen gadgets, just little nicnacs but for wholesale prices. It is HUGE, probably one of the worlds biggest stores I would imagine! Lots of clean, straight lines if you like that type of thing (personally I do but I don't but it is still fun to go!)

Right off the bat I'm so jealous you got to go to an Ikea! We have one on the other side of the state but it might as well be in another country. sigh... Oh well, I have a catalog on order from them can't wait!
You did so well eating, congratulations!!! What is the 'SB' protein bar? For the life of me I can't get my brain to recall that one. (this time of day all my brain can summon is StarBucks...LOL!)

Ikea was a blast. It felt even larger after walking all day at Renfest but it was still great!
SB = South Beach.. now normally I steer clear of those b/c of all the sugar alchohols. But the breakfast high protein cereal bars (140 cals, 15 carbs, 10 proteins) have 3 sugar alchohols, nothing compared to those bigger bars. Do they give me gas still? You bet your bottom dollar, but only for about an hour lol. So I deal with it..it stinks tho not gonna lie (the gas) but I love that oatmeal cinnamon raisin one so much its worth it sometimes. We were outside.. good ventilation haha! Hope you have a great weekend!
Hey Molly, let make this a great weekend. I am staying focused on what's needs to be done and I am going to do it.
Yesterday was a good eating day, I had:
B-oatmeal with milk and some walnuts
s-atkins bar, sf nf latte
l-pork chop with small potato, sf jello
s-cheese sticks
d-bunless hamburguer with cheese, lettuce and tomato. a few, few fries with melted cheese-----yummy
I did not go for my walk but instead of taking the escalator to the metrorail, I walked up the stairs and walked the platform until my train arrived, not much but better than nothing. I have a busy weekend planned but I do not have any plans to excercise, but I have plans to stay focused with my foods.

Hoping you did well on your accounting test! You had a great eating day, too! I am going to try to work in my Denise Austin pilates dvd if possible but otherwise will be doing a lot of ripping and pulling in the garden as well as probably painting and cutting trim in my son's room. Going to throw some chicken thighs in the crock pot to start cooking so that there will be quick protein ready for me when I get hungry later and hopefully avoid the evil carbs!
I miss the fresh watermelon and strawberries so badly! They made it so easy to grab a low-cal snack, even if there were fruit carbs in them. Now I am dealing with the REAL carbs staring at me...those cereals with w h e a t. I know that whole grains are so good for us but why must they be so addicting????
