What did ya eat today - Monday?
Hey All.. Ok so it sounds like we hit some rough spots this weekend! It happens and we just gotta MOVEEEE on ladies and we *CAN* do that!!! It is OK! I am getting ready to hop into the shower for support group and won't be bac****il later so I am gonna go ahead and post this thread now. I had to sleep today (helps me to keep from eating too much thank goodness!) I am still really tired to I plan on being to bed by midnight tonight again if possible. Wanna start the rest of my week off right! Plus I am also vowing to get back into the exercise.. I have been slacking honestly the past month.. it isn't good. I have been sick/or majorly put down with allergies, hard to tell which it is but its getting much better now. No more excuses.. its like I got that gym membership and well... stopped doing a lot of my exercise.. not a good thing! So I am vowing to do 4 times a week minimum on exercise of 30 mins even if it is just a walk.. something! Ok here is my eats for today!
Early this morning right after work before I shopped:
Atkins Peanut Butter Granola Protien Bar (I see they have a new one with a fudge coating too, it has 2 sugar alchohols b/c of the fudge coating so I didn't buy it this morning.. my gas is enough to make anyone cry a river when I do! ha.. sorry TMI)
Before Going to Bed:
2 hard boiled eggs (had these in the fridge for something else) with 1 tsp of light miracle whip and 1 tsp of mustard all mashed up into an egg salad - does this seem like too much food to eat at once? I was "good" full on this amount. I ate one hard boiled egg at 3 months out so I think it is "ok". Eggs are high in sat fat so I don't like to do this but wanted to eat up these eggs. Adjusting my fat totals the rest of the day around the bar/eggs.
Woke Up:
EAS Choc Fudge Shake and 2 small pieces of my no bake protein bar
After Support Group:
Having my Wrap - LaTortilla Tortilla, Laughing light swiss spreadable cheese, 3 oz turkey deli meat, 1 romaine leaf shredded, onion chopped, white vinegar and some greek seasoning. 1/4 cup of cottage cheese on the side.
Gotta drink lots of water between now and bed..im very behind in that arena and vits.
Cals: 850, carbs 47, fats 40 (ok a bit high here but oh well), protein 90
How did you do today?
Today was my cousin's RNY surgery, Treysir, so we were on the road at 3am to Fremont, CA, to check him in at 6am for surgery. He's in some pain, but that is because Dr. Hanh also scraped the fat and scar tissue off his hernia mesh, to make sure it didn't need repair, while he was in there.
So far, I think I've ate everything I'm eating for the day.
B: Beef Jerky and couple bites of trail mix *nuts & banana chips*
S: 1/4 a lowfat cranberry oat scone from Starbucks
L: Non-fat milk (15 minutes prior) and 1/2 a grilled ham & cheese on wheat toast
S: More beef jerky & trail mix (sharing with my baby cousin to get her mind off her dad)
D: 1 c low fat cottage cheese
And 60 oz of fluid so far. Later tonight, probably more beef jerky, and water.
Hi! Sorry to read so many of us had a tough time on Sunday but you are right Melissa, it's time to move on! I worked very hard at it today at work and now have to continue that. Straigh in from the door it was bad...I went right to the nsa ice cream. Not even having it outside stopped me. Can I blame PMS, please?
I'm bummed, it isn't even 4 p.m. and my numbers are done in for the day already.
1) frosty protein shake
2) diet yogurt, 1/4 cup granola
3) the leftover tuna salad I couldn't eat last night: 1/2 cup lettuce, 3 oz. tuna, 1 oz. 2% cheese, shredded carrot, cucumber, 1/2 cup salsa
4) 1 Atkins morning bar
5) 1/3 cup nsa ice cream cone
cals: 857, carbs: 57, fats: 29, protein 87
It's been a long day on not much sleep and PMS'ing so that makes for dangerous territory tonight. I'll try to keep all of you in my mind and remember that tomorrow morning is weigh-in. Good luck to us all!
Hey Everyone! Happy Monday! I had the munchies today too - had 2 protein bars to satisfy them. Ouch.
Breakfast - 1 pumpkin protein bar with cream cheese filling
Snack - cottage cheese (small single serving container)
Lunch - leftover turkey spaghetti with spaghetti squash - YUM!
Snack - Protein Bar
Snack - Protein Shake with 4 oz. skim milk
Snack - 1/3 apple with peanut butter and ......ANOTHER protein bar before working out
Dinner - Grilled salmon with light caesar salad (ate the croutons too)
Snack - NSA fudge bar
That was an ugly day, but it is behind me now. At least I got in a good workout =) =) =)
Hi Molly! Your day looks good. Hope you were able to keep going well. I am doing the 5 day pouch test starting today.. hope it helps me. I posted a link to it in another post. I just want popcorn and carbs too much this week.. im sure it has to do with aunt flo coming soon but thought I would give this diet a try for a bit. A friend of mine who is 3 years out did it and really liked how it made her pouch "feel".
Ok--so this day is the opposite of Sunday.....it came down to 7pm and after supper i was at 489 calories and 65 proteins so i had to have some more food! That never happens.
B: Protein Bar
L: 2oz Turkey ground with lite miracle whip
cc yogurt
D: 4oz Turkey & 2 tomato slices
S: Protein Bar & CC yogurt (with 1/4 Zone cereal)
789 Calories 26 Fat 46 Carbs & 92 Protein
I also exercised today! 2 mile intervals on the treadmill. Exercise is NOT negotiable...or so i am telling myself!
I feel the same way Dawn, between the 5 day pouch test I am starting today (wish me luck) and exercise I just need to get back on track. I am gonna start posting my exercise with the daily eats.. actually I will change the title to "what did ya eat and how did ya move today? Like it? thanks for the idea! Lets keep eachother motivated!

I am exercising when i come home from work --before dinner no matter how hungry, tired, crampy etc i am it is ONLY 30 minutes for goodness sake (right?) ......i am thinking about buying an elliptical --just to change things up a bit. Great Idea Melissa! Yeah us!
