Hi!! I have a few more questions on PS that hopefully can be answered. The original post has past the main page so I am reposting for help / 411 from Heather, Molly and the rest of the December Babes.
Continuation to Heather: THANK YOU!!! What a relief to know that the girls will still have feeling; not just for "show". G to C that's a big step and must have made life easier, especially on your back. You are so right about getting the right Dr! I will start checking out surgeons and pics. So do you think that the TT and breasts should be done together or separately? I also will have to have my bat wings clipped. Damn...the inner thighs are sagging too. This could be really $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
I think that getting the best boobs is a good starting point, but I really don't know much about which surgery is done first. Do you have a PS plan or wish list?
Really hope that your New Pair will be Knock-Outs! LOL Thanks so much!
P.S. Hey, not to worry...you were working your butt off!! Please try to get some much needed sleep...want you to stay healthy, Girl. XOXOXO Ro
ok--first off i thought that you were talking about the Children's performers "THE WIGGLES" so i had to look to see what you were going to say.
I have not had PS, nor am i an expert..BUT i went to the OH seminar this past weekend and they had a PSurgeon give a talk. He said most people do Boobs and TT first and can be safely done together. Then Brachioplasty and/or Thighs can be done together. Or circumfrential Body lift and arms can be together. Then most opt for neck and/or face- 3rd. Ironically, i have a really really flat tummy (dont know how that happened).....and the girls although deflated have never been really big so they are not really an "issue" BUT i have saggy neck like a turkey waddle and my thighs/saddlebags are atrocious! What most women have on their tummy ---i have hanging off my hips and booty. So personally---I am considering hips and booty FIRST........then my turkey waddle, then the girls enhanced.....but i cannot imagine how in the world i am going to pay for all of this ---i know that it will cost a bundle...my husband KNOWS about the booty/hips --and agrees -i just havent thrown the other 3 surgeries in there!
Jackie Guerra was at the conference and was really proud of her new girls and they looked AWESOME!
have a good weekend---dawn

Thanks, Dawn...Good PS info. I think we all get stuck with sagging in the butt / leg department; some worse than others. You are so lucky not to have the "skin skirt" that I'm lugging around. A flat stomach...you are blessed!
Great to hear that Jackie is proud of her new set. I wonder who she used to get that kind of PS results. I think the pics in John Lomonico's ad on this site look too good to be true. It might be worth a trip to him, if I knew that I'd look like that...but at 50? LOL
So what else happened at the OH seminar? Any new products? Any demos? You are our eyes and ears....
Ro
Have you watched Big Medicine? Dr. Lomonico is the PS on that show!
When i get home this evening i will whip out the seminar stuff and look at my notes. They did not give any really good samples- I got this protein drink in what looked like a test tube but really big ---it was kiwi flavor, interesting ....we got "just the cheese" baked cheese snacks...i love them but they are so expensive (mail order)....giving free plastics assessments --but i still have 50lbs to go so maybe next time. Course the usual free pens, papers, water bottle holders and I also bought Jackie's Book "underconstruction" have not quite had the time to read it yet. The procedes of this book that day were to fund those who dont have insurance to pay for their surgery....what a worthy cause. There was a motivational speaker named Joanna Fee......her talk was entitled "tuesday is not cheesecake day" and she was a really smart, funny lady who made you say hmmmmmmmmmmm...infact i believe she has a website (at home in notes) ..more to come....
Has anyone checked into insurance coverage for tummy tuck or any other procedure???? Need all the help we can get! Maybe we can get a group discount... I am willing to travel! I am hooked on those plastic surgery shows, anyone else?
A good friend had many PS procedures after WLS, I think she got her boobs just bit too big, but they sure are perky (and she has feeling). She had a hernia and also did tummy tuck, arms, thighs, had her open RNY scar revised, and lip injections. Truth be told she had her wo-hoo (yes, down there) lifted too. (Not all at one time). All the work looks really great but she had a hard time with some of the recoveries, had an incision that wouldnt heal, and then burst the staple line after the thigh lift. I think she started the surgeries too soon after weight loss surgery (9 months), and that her body just wasnt ready for that major healing yet. Not trying to scare anyone, but want to be realistic with our expectations.
I am hoping to have bat wings done first. Then I will have to think about the other procedures.
When I attended an OH conference last year, Dr. Dennis Hurwitz was a guest speaker talking about the full body lift he does. He is on discovery health shows too showing the procedure. I think it cost around 40K, but everything was done all in one procedure with thousands of staples. Now thats a big ouch! Rebecca
PS - In the mean time, spanx and a padded bra are my best friends.

Hi, Heather! So glad that you posted this topic. I've gotten a lot of great info from you and the Gals. Happy to hear that your tummy is in good shape. What you said about the arm wave is true.."needs to go". As I get into smaller size tops, the sleeves become an issue. I usually buy 3/4 length sleeves on my shirts for exactly that reason.
Damn Batwings! Thanks again! Ro

Hi, Rebecca! Thanks for the PS info. I think that you have a good point about waiting before having work done. Hope that your friend is OK! Sounds like a lot to get fixed.
I'm with you on the bat wings...hate them, but my skin skirt and drooping thighs are causing concern too. **** I love my Spanx****
The PS shows are addictive and they make me think that I need to get this and this and that repositioned. How do people pay? Great question. I'd love to know the answer too. Any other info about what Hurwitz said at the 2006 OH conference?
Any info is appreciated.... Ro
