Wiggles, Jiggles and other things..
Alright, where the heck did the wiggly jigglies come from? Ever notice that certain parts now do things you never thought you'd see? I can so relate to why my female relatives from the South stated never to leave home without "supportive undergarments". LOL
Just about the time I think I'm going to start working out more, something else happens. Two weekends ago, hubby and I were coming home from dinner and grabbing a movie, and one of my brothers left a box sticking out from the edge of the couch. You can guess it.. I took a nice tumble across the living room floor, in a skirt
Well the rug burns are healed up now (stupid Berber carpet), but the right knee is still a lovely shade of lime green to neon yellow, with some bruised brown thrown in for contrast. So, I sound lovely riding my bike, between the surgery on my left knee several years ago, and the owie on my right knee.
"Ow, ouch, oWww.." LOL
So, how is everyone else doing?
Owww, Heather! Hope your 'good' knee heals quickly so you will enjoy riding your bike more. I hear ya on the wiggly jigglies. It is fascinating to watch the skin on the upper portion of my arms sag and hang when I bend forward. (which I do a lot of at work)
The only owie that is impacting my workouts continues to be my tailbone. My core muscles have gone to flab since I haven't been on the floor doing my pilates. No amount of isometric stomach pulls is helping...I do them every day. The tailbone needs to get over itself already so I can get back to working my abs!!!

Hi, Heather...Hope that your knee is feeling better! Biking sounds like a lot of fun.
Don't you have tail bone issues? I'm with Molly on the butt pain.
As for the wiggles, I'm more in the sags group. Lord, the girls are way, way below my elbows, when I place my arms close to my chest...hands toward my face. When I told my friend, she cracked up laughing so hard that tears came to her eyes. We both had a good laugh! I love my minimizer bras, but PS is probably in my future. Problem is is really don't want the girls to go numb. Any comments? Ro
Had breast reduction at 25. Was numb for about 8 months, then everything returned to normal. Now, I'm wondering what they are going to do about augmentation. I have some concave issues at the surgery line, near the breastbone. Not to mention they've disappeared! Think the PS is going to have to maybe put in under the muscle to get a good shape, and get them to STAY where they are put. We'll see. That's at least another year or two down the road.
Gonna try for the baby before all the PS stuff. =)
And knee is better.. it's a lovely shade of puce, and I'm able to kneel on it again, and not want to pass out.

Hey, Heather...Do you think that feeling will return to the girls, after reshaping, implants, and nipple repositioning? Seriously, this scares me. I'd love to have normal looking breasts again. I just can't imagine having numbing or no sensation thereafter.
I totally agree with you about waiting until (((your baby))) arrives....big smile!
Glad to hear that your knee is feeling better; even if it is a strange color....(((Hug))).
Hope that your PS goes well and that any problems resolve smoothly. Right now, I wonder how any Dr. could raise my breasts. As I drop more weight, the problem is sure to get worse. Do you think that it is better to wait a while in general? How long?
I'd appreciate any 411...Thanks...Ro
You are so funny! Glad you pm'd me..this post had gotten so far down the list I hadn't looked at it again. Be careful about who your ps is and his/her methods and you won't have to worry about the girls going numb. I had NO numbness. Nada. My ps uses the pedicle method (doublecheck me on that name, it has been 7 years since mine was done and I might have it wrong) which is supposedly key to maintaining sensitivity. If they cut the pedicle (sort of a fibrous bundle of nerves and strands and such that connects the nipple to the rest of the ducts and the chest wall in layman's terms) then you have no chance of sensation and the girls will be just for show.
What I have left now is saggy little empty bags that used to hold fatty breast tissue and whatever is left of my duct system so I presume that I would have to have pretty good sized implants just to get me up to a b or c cup. I also presume that they'd place the implants under the muscle. Beyond that, I dont know much about the procedure. The only person I know very well who has implants is a breast cancer survivor of a double mastectomy and she of course has no sensation since so much was removed. One of her implants is higher than the other and sort of flat looking at the top. She says the problem was that her husband didn't help her with the post-op massaging as the ps ordered. I don't see why that would be a problem for any of us, with no lymph surgery problems like a breast-cancer patient we'd all be able to do our own massage.

ps...Since I have the day off i have been BUSY and baked a batch of muffins for the family, banana bread for a neighbor and now am going to get dressed and attempt my pilates. Wish me luck! Am sick of the Tailbone From Hell running my life!!! Afterwards I am going to try to make some protein biscotti. I love your multi batch concept, can't wait to figure the schematics of it out and try it. You are so creative!

Thank you, Molly! I will check out the procedure on-line. I'm not ready yet, but I do want to know what I'm getting into in the future. Tailbone From Hell...very good description. My T-bone is so sore all of the time! Hope that the biscotti idea works; sounds like a great snack with coffee ****asionally, of course). The multi batches might do the trick, as variety really counts after WLS. BTW, DH & I went to our local clubhouse for "dance lessons" last night. A few of my neighbors were there and one of my girlfriends, who brought along her son's bridal party and fiancee's parents. We had a good time...there were about 20 people in the class. So nice to get out; even if I can't seem to follow the directions! Have a good night...and once again thanks. Ro
LOL, sorry Ro, did 12 hour shift last night. My PS had taken and removed the nipples with nerves intact, and then put them back. Think it just took me a while to get the sensation back. But then again, I went from a G cup down to a C, so might have just been all the trauma to the ladies, that did it.
I would definitely start shopping around a year before you decide to do the surgery. Get online and look at before and after pics, especially from that surgeon, ask on the boards for your area who they recommend, and if they are willing to SHARE their pics and or exp, etc.
I'm like Molly now.. not much left up front, since the breast is mostly fatty tissue, what was left after the reduction has dwindled away to sad little bananas. So sad.. *mourn*.. LOL
