What did ya eat today - Thursday?
Hey All! I am early again as I will be busy again tonight. I am fixing dinner then we are going to the nearby casino to see a comedian/hynostist duo. Pretty excited! Tomorrow we are gonna be at the fair all day! I am bringing my bars with me and gonna make good choices.. maybe have some popcorn that's about it (I hope anyway). We are eating breakfast here and then stopping somewhere for lunch where I can eat healthier so I don't go into the fair hungry. I am trying to plan smart anyway! So I won't be around tomorrow to post the what did ya eats, sorry about that. This is what I have eaten so far today!
B: Molly's pumpkin protein bar with homeade SF/FF cream cheese frosting.
L: Powercrunch bar (these are light and 200 cals and I just wasn't hungry.. I normally never do two bars in a day but its fitting into my allowances for the day so I'm going with it).
D: Making Fajitas. Will have 3.5 oz chicken, onions and peppers with some light monteray jack cheese, salsa and tbs of light sour cream. No tortilla for me.
S: SF/FF Latte (medium, skim milk, decaff) at the casino
S: EAS shake most likely.. or something else with protein.

Hope you are having fun at the perfomance tonight. It has been years and years since my husband and I have had an actual date. Our dates these days always involve going to Home Depot or Lowes. For real!
Today was another hard day at work but the food came out great, even though I had to gift shop afterwards. Tomorrow I am going to P.F. Changs for a friend's birthday lunch. Looked at their menu online and all I can say is 'yuck'. Nothing looks good at all. Guess I'll bring my own dressing and order a salad and have them remove as much of the non-safe stuff as possible. Oh well, I'll enjoy the company of my friends...that is more important than the food. (And it is going to be fun to decide what to wear since I never get dressed up anymore!)
Today's eats:
1) EAS chocolate fudge shake
2) homemade protein bar
3) diet yogurt with 1/2 cup kashi go lean
4) small mixed salad same as last night w/1T ff ranch dressing and 1 light mozz. stick
5) 3/4's of a 100 cal mini popcorn
6) weird combo dessert of 1/4 cup ff ricotta and 1/3 cup nsa cho**** cream
calories: 832, carbs: 83, fat: 25, protein: 73
Have a great time at the fair tomorrow. Don't forget to drink plenty of water too.

No, it started because of our schedules once I started working so early in the morning. In order not to have to have the kids in daycare we always arranged it so that one of us was always home and thus we were hardly ever awake at the same time or had free time together. Then we began having trouble with our daughter and it wasn't safe to leave home and now that things are better, we are back to the scheduling thing again. I'm older and just can't stay up so late. My 3 a.m. alarm is a killer and it really runs my life.
So now when we are both home and awake (coherant, anyway) there are always homeowner things that have to be done so those trips to Home Depot and Lowes have just become our little joking dates.
Glad to know you had a good time last night. Free is fabulous too!

Ok, it's time to come clean and confess.....I have been eating like a horse, especially SF candy, however, that is going to stop as of tomorrow. I promise, scout honors!.

B-protein shake with a wedge of smoked gouda
S-atkins protein bar
l-ground beef with spaguettin sauce and crackers
s-2 cheese sticks
d-chicken, black beans and balsamic tomatoes--------so good--------

I did have a great time seeing the hypnotist/comedian, he was quite good plus when we got there they said the show was FREE tonight.. WAHOO! I love that! Even better! I think they are trying to promote these thursday night shows.. they don't get as much traffic as they would like. Me being a weekend worker it is perfect for hubby and I! I love it!
Aw, don't beat yourself up over the dove chocolates.. I know this sounds dumb but have you tried substituting SF fudgesickes or SF choc pudding, to me both are VERY rich and satisfying.. call me dumb but they are too me. Maybe have those every night to curb that sweet tooth. Just a thought and some people laugh at me when I suggest it, but it works for me. I get major chocolate cravings right before and as Aunt Flo visits (damn her) and I gotta dig into those things. But I leave them for then as I don't crave it any other time. I would let myself have one but then Id eat more. Oh also once in a while I will allow myself to eat those Dark Chocolate covered altoid mints. 2 is 15 calories and satisfies me plenty. I always stop at 2 and don't even count it in my calories for the day. I prob do this once a week or two.. Just another thought. *hugs*
Yes, I have tried the SF puddings and popsicles but they are not the same. I get that craving about once a month but next time I am going to try the altoids. My problem is that once a buy a bag/package I have to have them all in one day. I can not save it for later. Oh well, at least I am not having a bag and I mean a big bag of chocolate a day as I used to before. I probably should stick with the SF pudding b/c I am able to control those better.
