Hi Melissa, Today was not a good day. Haven't been able to use my computer much today since DH has had it tied up with more job-hunting stuff. He was very close to having a job today but it turned out the wages were ridiculously low for his level of experience so it was back to searching again and more fine-tuning of his resume's, etc. That takes time and he is a Type A personality so it was a difficult day. Again today, I ate way too much I think and too many times. 1) frosty protien shake 2) EAS cafe caramel 3) homemade protein bar (in a meeting so I couldn't add the topping) 4) 1/2 cup homemade tamale-pie casserole (tough to count so I guessed) 5) Curves bar..strawberries and cream 6) about 3 oz. (not measured) pork tenderloin w/1 tab ff ranch dressing 7) dinner salad w/some hard boiled egg, bacon, turkey, feta and ff ranch dressing 8) sf fudgesicle Guessing on the tamale pie and dinner salad (hopefully I guessed high instead of low) calories: 1097, carbs: 90, fats: 25, protein: 112 Molly (waaay late for bed)

Oh, thank you! It is a state job so the process will prob. be rather long and he'll be quite antsy and snippy during the wait. I'm prepared for that. He has again been dangling the tempting carrot of 'if I get a good job you can quit yours' in front of me. Have heard that for the last 7 years now. If he does get this or another good job then I'm sure I'll quit mine and find something closer to home that won't be so demanding but still keep me active. A sedentary desk job just wouldn't work for me. Now that it is easier to move it is way better than sitting, don't you think?

Well maybe he will get that job he wants this time and that would be nice for you to do something else that is if you want that change. I like having a job that isn't sedentary.. I have to agree. However I do know people like Terri R that don't have that option but then she goes to the gym for 2 hours a night. So I guess it is all in how you handle things. Being a nurse I am on my feet A LOT.. I tried a "ask a nurse" job with MS patients once.. did it for a year.. HATED IT.. had to sit on my butt all day long.. id be the only one standing in my cubical.. i was over 300 lbs then and hated sedentary jobs then also. I am too much of a busy body to stand still much or sit rather.. so I hear you. Good luck to him and you.. I hope it all works out for you both and that you both are happy in the end.. I am praying for you. *hugs*
