Hi Angela, Hi everybody! My flag is flying in honor of our 9-11 victims and the effect it has had on our country. This week's numbers: HW: 268 SW: 230 LW: 136 CW: 136 I'd gotten down to 134 *again* and *again* went back up to 136. Sigh... For some odd reason I get really munchy and hungry on Mondays and don't eat lightly in preparation for the weigh-in. Monday's are very tough and I just can't manage to stay on the lower-end of my eating plan that day. The only plastics I plan on is to have breast augmentation done to repair the damage done from my breast reduction and then weight loss. No consultations yet but I do have it narrowed down to two different surgeons. One piece of advice for someone starting out? Do a very thorough examination of your eating habits prior to making any surgery choices. Once you know how you eat (and along the way maybe you can find out why) THEN start researching what surgery is going to be best for you. Many of us will only ever get one chance to get this right due to changes in the insurance industry and the choice must be made very carefully! I have a very tough week ahead and hope to remember to stay focused and not get too fatigued to stay in control. Molly

SW: 246 CW: 180.5 Dr GOAL 160 MY GOAL: 145 Height: 5'4" Hi everyone. Sorry I have not been around in a while. I am recovering from another surgery. Some one might remember the tumor that was found on my kidney last year while doing my preop tests. The tumor is gone along with some (thankfully not too much) of my right kidney. They were not able to do this surgery laproscopically due to the massive size of the tumor. I am starting to be able to move around some. It's very hard to sleep and there is no comfortable position to be in. As for plastics I may change my mind later, but for now I hope I NEVER have to be cut on again! Now just have to wait another week or so for the pathologist report and hopefully everything will be fine. I am so glad I had this surgery at what I weigh now and not what I weighed last December!

HW: 265 SW: 240 LW: 173 CW: 174 I feel like I'm really struggling emotionally vs. physically on the eating. I log everything, and I do eat when I'm hungry, as instructed. Emotionally I'm not ok with this because when I look at the numbers, it seems like too much, even when I've not misbehaved. I do understand intellectually that this is what's best for my growing baby, but emotionally, I'm at a conflict. I've been told to add things to my diet that I wouldn't normally eat if I weren't pregnant. I'm just afraid it will come back and bite me after I have this baby. A piece of advice to someone just starting out...TRIPLE BIRTH CONTROL!! Most women, myself included, have fertility issues. You start losing a bunch of weight, and then...whammo. While I know women have pregnancies that are just fine after only a short time out, I truly believe waiting is best...that is of course, if you can help it. As for plastics, I'd been planning on it, but it looks like maybe next year. If nothing else, I'd want my TT. Second to that, a breast lift, I'd love to see my belly button.
