Hey everyone! OH has now paid actual registered dieticians to help us postop WLS patients with nutrition questions! They are on the Diet and Nutrition Forum. I asked a question today about my amount of cals and rate of loss etc.. this is what I got for feedback if you are interested. I urge you to ask them questions if you have them, they are a wonderful resource to us and are used to working WLS pt specifically and are from enutrition.com! http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/nutrition/a,messageboard/action,replies/board_id,5389/ca t_id,4989/topic_id,3393409/

Hey, Melissa...I took a quick peek at eNutritionCare.com's site. Glad that they're working here as a "freebie" to us. HeHeHe...Ro

Hijack...Terisa thank you for the other post about the eating disorders forum (will it get the name change?). I will read it off and on and keep it bookmarked in case I feel the need to post. Right now it seems there are mostly folks who don't eat and my food addiction is that I want to eat all the time so if a group of that type of eating problems develops I'll start posting. OH is wonderful, there is so much help to be found here!!! Molly

Molly, I really wish you would post over there anyway. There are a couple of people who want to eat all the time, but I am aware that that most that post do not eat. I want to have more who want to eat just as much as those who are experiencing body dysmorphic disorder. Someone has to be the first and lead the way for others right? Why not you? It is not that the problem has not developed, people are scared to post that and waiting for someone else to start. So, my favor to ask of you is if you would start? Take care and I hope things are going well for you. ~ Terisa

Hi Melissa interesting post, yes I do wish I had your problem But you are more disciplined than I am (excercise and diet) I am going to up some strength training and cut out some of my cardio it makes me wiped out some days. Google Jim Karas for some stregth training advice. Thank you for letting us know about the Nut online... Erin

Melissa, great topic. You gave me the answer to the questions I asked my surgeon and nut on my 8th check up and neither one gave a satisfactory answer. This response is great. I already printed the info to keep handy for when I need it. I am only 20 lbs from my goal. Are you planning on following their advice? If so, how? Beatriz
