What did ya eat today - Thursday?
Hi Everyone! What are we eating on today? Hope everyone had a good Thursday!
B: 1 vanilla dannon fit and light yogurt with tsp of blackberry jam mixed in and 1/4 cup of Protein Bare Naked Granola, 1/4 cup blueberries. LOVE THIS!
L: Power Crunch Bar - Peanut Butter Vanilla Cream
D: 3.5 ounces of chicken breast covered with some swiss cheese, onions and peppers with a few bites of a side salad with FF ranch/french combo (going out tonight)
S: SF, nonfat, Iced Cinnamon Dolce Latte (going to a comedy club after dinner with some friends and there is a starbucks there!)
S: EAS Shake most likely as I will need more protein.
Calories : 867, 31 fats, carbs 65, protein 83. Little low on protein so maybe 2 shakes to get to 100 protein and cals in the 900's.
A lot of supplements/drinking today. I should eat more dense stuff but not really that hungry.

No hand slapping Amy.. gotta have some things once in a while to help you along.. thus my lattes. Good job. Btw.... I asked a question on the diet and nutrition forum about calories and loss etc.. if any of you are interested in the registered dieticians response it is over there. OH has now paid Registered Dieticians to answer questions on that board.. its really cool. Just as I suspected my calories are still too low!!! I am down to 154 on my scale.. losing like a bandit still. Don't get me wrong not complaining but it kinda freaks me out. So they want me to up my carbs and my cals to slow loss down.. gonna talk to my doc about it on the 19th when I see them. They want me at 1200-1400 calories (the dietician said on that board). Wow..

I was kinda happy with my day today. I am off to Cinti tomorrow and that is where I usually pick so I am really going to TRY to be GOOD.
I did "try" running this week but I ended up walking a mile and waddling some of it...it is a START and I am SORE today
Hello Everyone! So impressed with the good choices today:
Here is my intake:
B - Weight control, low sugar oatmeal (3/4 package), half banana.
L - Frozen south beach meal - couldnt fini**** all, had broccoi and beef (no starch)
S - 140 cal. protein bar
S - chocolate protein shake with 4 oz. milk
d - 10 shrimp grilled, little bit of salad
and I am sure I will have one more snack - Healthy Choice sugar free fudge bar!
Have to add up cal/carb etc. but think it looks like a good day. I added the protein shakes back in last week and have lost 8 pounds - yippeee. Could be the stress - but in days past I would have gained 8 pounds in response to stress - so that is a good change.
Let's commit to each other that we will make good choices this weekend - everyone in??????

My challenge is that my friends all want to take me out to dinner or lunch to celebrate my birthday ....i TRY kindly to tell them since i had such a time in Vegas that i would rather not.....BUT some dont get it. I had one friend take me to lunch Thursday --Mexican my favorite...but i had the waiter take away the rice immediately when it was served and i did not order tortillas....i admit i had 2 tortilla chips but i broke them into tiny pieces so that they would last longer and a couple of scoops of pinto beans (not refried) I want to be in the 100's wahhhhhh....why is it so hard for others to understand that it is/was an addiction....You dont invite a recovering alcoholic out for drinks on their birthday..........

B: 1/2 LS oatmeal, 1.5 oz LF chicken salad, 9 cheddar rice cakes
S: yogurt, 1/2 oz mixed nuts
L: 2.5 fish with yellow rice, 1/2 c vegetable combo
D: 2 oz skirt steak, 1/4 c cucumber, 1/6 c mashed potatoes, and 1/6 c mac 'n' cheese
S: 1/2 whole wheat pita sprayed w/ ICBINB (I Can't Believe It's Not Butter) and a sprinkle of garlic powder (WLS "garlic bread" LOL); yummy. 4 oz Low Sodium V8 (good potassium #); this V8 tastes "ok", but somethings missing...oh yeah...salt!
Calories: 890 Carbs: 85 Fats: 33 Protein: 68 (w/ protein drink)
