You are so right, Ro! We have to be around food and goodies the rest of our lives so we might as well learn now how to deal with it. I love your idea of cutting the yummy protien bars into smaller pieces. I should do that with some of my higher calorie store-bought bars too. This weekend I am going cold turkey from my sugar free Dove chocolates. For months now I have been eating them as freebies almost every day. You never see them on my daily totals because they've been a sanity keeper for me and were never a problem. But like you said, I need to learn to deal with chocolate addiction. So now I'm missing them and think that maybe some tiny bites of a chocolaty protien bar would be a good substitute! (if the calorie count works out!)
And I love the suggestion of the caramel Davinci on yams. My MIL got me eating yams a few years ago with her intensely sugar-laden southern-style Thanksgiving treat. This will be an excellent substitute....yeah!!! Thank you, thank you!
