Today was a great day for me, I had: B-protein shake made with water instead of milk--BIG,BIG mistake. one banana(no more bananas for me, too many carbs in one inocent banana----I love bananas S-atkins bar L-Shrimp salad, sf jello S-SF Cappucino, homemade S-100 cal bag of popcorn D-shrimp creole wtih rice and brocoli S-2 sf popcicle My totals are: 965cals 19fat 101carbs 109protein........can't see to know how to keep the carbs low. I hate carbs!!! I know I should not have had the rice, but I could not resist myself...oh well,,, there is always tomorrow.

Beatriz, have you tried freezing banana chunks for your shakes? I take a small-med. banana and cut it into thirds (about 2" pieces) then individually wrap each piece in a little plastic wrap and then put them all in a zip-top baggie. They last beautifully in the freezer about a month before they start to brown. This gives my shakes just enough banana flavor plus it helps the ice cubes and the protein bind together so that the shake stays smooth and creamy instead of separating into liquid and ice crystals. And it helps control the amount of banana I eat. (which, I found out over the weekend is a VERY good thing since I dumped like a truck from eating a whole banana in one sitting...big mistake!) Molly

No, I have not tried that. Do you use water or milk to make the shake? Beatriz

I always either use nonfat milk or nonfat soy milk. They would not have a good consistency if I used water since I also use so much ice. Mine really come out like a milkshake, guess that is why they are so tasty to me. Molly
