Hi, Diana! I feel the same way about Sunchips...they're safe because they weren't a trigger food before WLS. Now peanut butter is a different story. I was so addicted to it that I actually made some in my food processor, using just lightly salted dry roasted nuts. You know what happened next...out came the spoon...it wasn't pretty! Later I got hooked on Nature Valley Trail "BARS" and Nature Valley Sweet 'n' Salty Peanut "BARS". So now you know why I haven't eaten many protein bars. The last food that I found addicting was Bear Naked Granola. In June, I kept sneaking more and more of it onto my Dannon Light & Fit. I swore-off it, just to rebound by eating 2 Nature Valley Honey & Oat bars crushed into pieces. I packed combo bar bags for our sons to take to work and haven't brought any others into the house since.
I totally understand the feeling...I just can't control it...yet! XOXOXO Ro

sigh........Night time is a booger for me......maybe i should start going to bed at 7:00......OR eating dinner later........breakfast is at 7:15 ish lunch is at 11:15ish and dinner is about 5:30 that leaves 4 hours until bed ----most of the late night snacking is old habit -----and i try to do good with only cc yogurt...but lately NOT SO MUCH....
Dawn don't beat yourself up, we all have bad days.. I did really bad yesterday too, what I posted was my plan.. I ended up eating popcorn like I said.. a shake, a latte and then some nuts and THEN a powercrunch bar.. it was TERRIBLE! Not sure what got into me. I think I am partly afraid of seeing the scale move so quick so I was self sabataging myself saying its ok to indulge.. today. no it really isn't melissa! Not THAT much. So I had 1600 calories.. yes you guys.. 1600 calories yesterday. I also was up so many hours.. that makes it very HARD! So I am putting the powercrunch totals on today and eating 800 cals today or less so it evens out a bit.. Maybe you can do this too somehow and just eat very filling dense meats like chicken that is high protein low cal..
Hang in there, we are not perfect, we are human, mistakes happen just today we both get back on track. We admitted our problems now lets move on girl! We can do it!
