What did ya eat today - Thursday?

B: (woke up late started with lunch) 1 hard shell taco from a restaraunt with 1 tsp of sour cream and 1 tbsp of salsa - yes I ate the shell, I know.. there wasn't much food to the thing. Sometimes I allow corn in my diet but never flour unless its whole wheat/soy. S: Homeade Cinnamon Slim using 4 oz light vanilla soy milk L: 1 whole grain/flax seed pita pocket toasted with 1 light swiss laughing cow cheese, 2.5 ounces of deli turkey, romaine, red onion, splash of white vinegar, greek seasoning, 1/4 cup cottage cheese. S: Homeade SF Chai latte with 4 oz light vanilla soy milk. D: ??? S: EAS Cafe Caramel Protein Shake (of course! - my fav!) I am at 662 cals, 25 fats, 46 carbs, 65 protiens, 15 fibers (not good) so far without dinner. I need to up some things for sure.. more cals, more proteins, possibly even have some popcorn. I need to get to 1000 cals. 90-95 proteins. I called my doc's office.. I am now down 13 lbs for the month and I have a few days left till my 9 month anny on Sept 4th. I am just a little concerned as I know I should be slowing down not getting higher in my loss as I go along.. this is a high month for me. they told me to keep to the 1000 cals I have been doing.. not to be worried.. I am 16 lbs to goal now. I am excited don't get me wrong but just thought I should call to see what they say. How did you do today?

HI...I so wish I had your problem You are doing sooo WELL. B-2 mini breakfast quiches L-tuna fish with crackers and watermelon S-string cheese, detour protein bar and 100 cal. pack of doritos D-1/2 atkins protein bar and slices turkey S-popcorn

Hey, Melissa! Thanks for the compliment about the protein bars, but the kudos really go to my DH, who helped with the group's list. I passed along the "thank you". Wow! 13 lbs! and so close to goal! Do you have any idea why you are having such a big loss? You seem like a VERY active person. Since you are feeling fine and following your Doc's guidelines, this may be "normal" for your body. Enjoy the victory! I had a weird day with food today... B: chocolate pudding 4 oz, vegetable soup in beef broth 1 c L: beef tenderloin 2 oz, yogurt 6 oz D: egg salad 3 oz, wheat Ritz (3), cucumbers, chili 1/3 c S: popcorn (mini bag), nuts 1/2 oz calories: 893 carbs: 88 fats: 35 protein: 70 w/ drinks I've noticed that on the SparkPeople's "where your calories come from" pie chart, my "pie" is usually divided into thirds for the carbs, fats, and proteins. Not certain if that means anything, but I am going to mention it to my Nutritionist in October. Congrats again! Ro

My eating has been out of control for the last three days. I am worried b/c I do not want to fall into old tricks. I am very dissapointed with my weigh loss that I started eating the wrong foods. However, I plan to start tomorrow with a clean canvas and continue what I was doing before no matter if I loose or not. It really does not matter since I do not want to loose that much more weight. I am going to use fitday on a regular basis and also report here what I am eating so please feel free to let me know how am I doing with my eatings. I have to make this tool work, I am so close to my goal that it would be a complete shame to go back to old habits. Thanks for listening Beatriz

16 pounds to goal, that is awesome!!! Congratulations and keep up the good work and I agree....don't worry! I did not do as good as you! Seems everybody I worked with (and me) were just famished all day. Then I got home and 'let down my hair' and really overate. Numbers are scary high for me but it has been a long, hard week and I won't let tomorrow be a repeat. Food has been a bit recreational tonight. 1) frosty protein shake 2) dannon light n fit yogurt, 1/4 cup granola 3) 4.5 oz. chicken, 2 tab. lf ranch dressing 4) 1 kashi granola bar 5) 1 cup watermelon 6) 1 slice black rye bread with 2 oz. lf cream cheese 7) (yes...it keeps going!) 1 cup life cereal dry 8) 1 sf fudgesicle 9) 1 cup of leftover spinach salad w/some feta and veggies plus spray dressing calories: 1160, carbs: 115, fats: 37, protein: 85. These numbers are prob. ok with my nut's guidelines (except for the carbs, I suspect) but they are really scary to me. It is only 7 pm and I think I'd 'like' to eat something more tonight before bed. Have to stay up late tonight till my husband gets home and that will be a danger time for food. Molly

I'm sorry...I guess I should learn proper shorthand or just spell things out thoroughly. That was 4 1/2 ounces of chicken and two tablespoons of low fat ranch dressing. (Hidden Valley brand) I'm a bad one to do the oz, tsp. and tab. abbreviations. Laziness! Molly

JUST PLAIN FUNNY...About Doritos. A nutritional group leader mentioned that some of her clients couldn't give up Doritos. Their solution was to lick the chips clean and then toss the evidence. When this was explained, the leader called them "chip lickers". Well...she said it really fast and it sounded a bit different to us. We burst out laughing then so did she. Go ahead say it fast 3 times! Hey, it was funny at the time. Ro

Funny thing is I never really liked Doritos so if I feel like I have to really have something they are a safe (not wise) choice as I will not pig out on them. Diana
