What did ya eat today - Thursday
How did your Thursday turn out, eating-wise? Mine came out ok but it isn't over yet. Today was the first time at work that I have been to a potluck and haven't been able to eat anything much except what I brought. (all Italian theme and mostly all pasta or bread) The person who was going to bring frittatta didn't so all that I could eat was my diet faux-tiramisu, some very bland (and painful) bagged salad and the zucchini and broth from a tortellini soup. The real tiramisu that I made for everybody else must have been pretty good, they ate half the pan and it smelled divine. Mine was ok but I wouldn't go out of my way to make it again. Basically it was four Murray's sugar free nilla wafers soaked in sweetened decaf espresso and layered with some lf cream cheese that I mixed with a few squirts of sf whipped cream and vanilla. Topped with cocoa powder. Looked pretty but not all that fab.
1) frosty protein shake (yummy today...choc prot. powder, vanilla lite soymilk, decaf espresso ice cubes, huckelberry sf syrup, splenda packet)
2) 1 crustless mini quiche (tried to eat another but had to throw it up)
3) abt. 1 cup salad w/spritzer dressing (ouch!), 1 serving faux-tiramisu, 1/2 cup liquid and zucchini from soup
4) kashi honey-almond-flax granola bar
5) zucchini lasagne, 1/4 cup rice crackers
6) ? need more protein
So far: 679 calories, 33 carbs, 23 fat, 52 protein
BTW...that spritzer dressing was really good! Not enough to moisten that dry salad mix but I'll definitely buy some to use at home. The flavor was Balsamic Breeze, if I remember the name correctly. 10 sprays was 10 calories. If there was something else to moisten the salad it would have been better.
Today was one of my better days then the ones I have had recently.

I know I had A LOT of protein but never put it all in Fitday as I have not been home long enough too. I have been keeping protein bars in my purse so I have them AT ALL times so that really helped today.

Carbs are prolly not that high since I did not eat the whole tortilla, but I can't figure out how to change it so I'll just go with it!

lunch - hotdog with saurqraut, onions and relish(was stuck at sams club for lunch)

dinner - chinese food(about 7 oz)
snack - watermelon3 oz and a peach
