I haven't fallen-off the face of the earth...!

Okay, so... I'm back! On the 26th of this month, I'll have had my 8-month anniversary. To-date, I've lost 100 lbs. since surgery! A total of 146 lbs since my highest weight in September of 2005!! I'm a little behind on my weight-loss goals, in all honesty, because my doc. really wanted me to continue to lose about 10 lbs/month. These last two months (June and July) have been crazy - my husband got called back from his layoff, I got a new job (and now work full-time at one university, part-time at another), I started classes towards my Bachelors (and now take 3 classes a quarter - WAY MORE than full-time), and we moved to a new apartment that we now share with my best friend, Jennifer. Between working 52-hours 6 days/week, and fitting-in time to do my homework, I've completely neglected exercising. That's all going to change! I've decided that it's time to quit my part-time job, so that will free-up evenings for me. I've also started to make sure that I schedule "me time", as I've found that unless it's written in my planner, it just won't happen - that goes for anything; sleep, food, fun, work, sex...! I don't know if anyone else feels like this, but since I've lost all this weight I've just had this "I can tackle the world!" kind of feeling. My husband constantly has to reel me back in a little bit, and remind me that just because I've shed an entire person it doesn't mean that I'm God. I think that's about it. We've scheduled a trip to Disneyland (leave Christmas in the afternoon, come back New Years Eve afternoon), as a "Happy One Year!" trip, so I'll be in the Happiest Place On Earth on my exact surgery date!! Krystal...you look AMAZING!!! I wish I could help with changing the picture BUT I am not sure. I know you upload to photobucket (Or anyother host co) and I think you just go under profile but not sure. I am sure someone else can help you. Krystal!!! HUGS, girl!!! I've missed seeing you here and thought of you so often. You haven't kept away just because we have different surgery types, I hope. I know that you expressed some frustration over being 'the only one' a few months ago but you know that it doesn't matter because we are all in this same battle together...we just have different weapons. Are you going to be back more regularly now that you are quitting the part time job? We need an exercise leader still and you were doing a great job of getting our butts kicked and motivated to post our exercising. Melissa is keeping us accountable to each other with our food postings and you could do the same for exercise. (detect the whining here?) You look so amazingly fabulous! Now that I have less on my plate (in food AND in life... haha!), I will definitely be back here regularly. I have it scheduled in my Calendar at work. I would LOVE to help-out as an exercise leader - consider me signed-up! It would be just the thing to keep me on-top of it myself. How do you suggest I start? What days do you post for food? I could do the same thing at the same time. HOORAY! I'm glad to see everyone is doing so well! Krystal
