Great Eating Day -- Sunday!
Thank you again for all the support and for helping me make a fresh start today. It has been a wonderful eating day AND pouchie appreciated it too and kept the ulcers silent today. Whew! That makes facing food so much easier! My calorie numbers have come out kinda low for someone who is trying to maintain but I figure that after yesterday it pretty much evens out the score.
A new weekend strategy for me...no protein shakes! They use up between 140-200 calories of my daily budget and start me out with around 30 gr.protein the way I make them and then if I eat more protein foods during the day I am actually over my protein needs. I'll keep them up during the week because they really do help me with those 3 a.m. days of mine but I can do better on the weekends.
Today...and I'm proud of this!
1) 1 (MEASURED!) cup of watermelon
2) a zucchini/ham frittata made with 1 1/2 oz teensy diced ham, half a zucchini, 1/4 cup egg beaters, some red onion and Mrs. Dash. YUM!
3) 2 turkey/cheese rollups, 1/2 cup marinated cucumbers
4) 1 mini bag popcorn
5) 1 measured cup watermelon (does this tell you I didn't measure yesterday?)
6) a pretty little dinner salad with fancy-schmancy greens, 1 1/2 oz. chicken, 1 tab. ff feta, 1/2 small avacado, 1 tab. reg. dressing
7) a sf frozen fruit pop
Totals (drumroll please...) 583 calories, 67 grams carbs, 18 grams fat, 46 grams protein
Thank you, thank you! OK...what did you eat today????

This weekend was better than the last few, but I definitely have to pay more attention to the carbs. I get so worried about calories I don't always take the carbs into account.
