Today's Funny Moment
Going to lunch, walking across the intersection, talking to a co-worker who is waiting on the opposite corner for the light to change. And two guys in a Dodge slow way down to watch me walk. I ignore it.
Get over to the other side by Amy (whose about 20.. hehe) and her eyes are huge. She says, "Those guys were totally checking you out!" I just laughed and shrugged it off. Then she says, "And that's why the guy in the first car sat at the light after it turned green and everyone was honking. He was watching the redhead walk too!" I think I turned as red as my hair.
But you know.. they were. *giggles* Husband better watch out!
You go girl!! Turning heads and getting honked at... I LOVE IT!!! I had a wow today too.. I was shopping and this guy was looking for clothes in the women's department.. I thought how sweet of this guy. Next thing I hear is "Mam..." I am like (ugh, I hate that word... Mam.. feels so old).. wondered who he was referring to.. (SURELY NOT ME!! I am not OLD! haha.. well I like to think I'm not!) Well sure enough, yep he was referring to me! So I said "yeah.." he says "How do I tell what size my girlfriend wears?" I thought to myself.. uhhhhhhhh. I said "well... that's not an easy one, you didn't look at the sizes of her clothes before you left the house??" "No... I am not that smart he says.. " haha... I said "well, people carry their weight so different and it all has to do with how much muscle etc.." His eyes get sad.. you can tell he wants to get her some clothes.. so sweet!!!! So I really wanna help this fella.. hes so cute too btw.. haha. So I said Ok .. "well you can answer honestly how big is she in comparison to me.." He said "well shes pretty small like you are.." WHAT... WHAT!?!?!??! My eyes welled up.. I told him "you don't know how much that comment has just affected me in a positive way." He was dumbfounded lol.. So anyway.. I said well I am a 12.. and can cram into a 10. He decides to go with a 12 and medium/large tops.. which is about where I am. Just was a great wow for me.. he made my day.. i made his by helping him. Of course my husband is probably wondering why I am talking to this cute fella in the women's department.. I had some explaining to do ;)
Hehe.. yah, I told my husband about it. He turns around, gets a good look at the shirt my aunt sent me and says, "uh huh".
Can't help it if clothes fit more closely to the frame now. That's his issue, not mine. ROFL
I still try to go for the bigger girl sizes, as my friends drag me in to the Juniors and Misses sections. You hear me all down the aisle.. "that's not gonna work... hmmm.. that's cute."
