Molly Marinate in what?
Sure, it is a very mild German vinegar that I buy at the military commissary. Kuhne brand (with two dots over the u) called Salata. It is described on the bottle 'Seasoned Vinegar Dressing with equisite Italian herbal extracts'. But it is clear as clear and just looks like a light golden colored vinegar. If you can't find this exact one then I'd check at Worldmarket or another import food store for a mild vinegar. This isn't sugary like a Japanese rice wine vinegar and not as tart as a cider vinegar.
There isn't any internet address on the bottle for the company but maybe they can be found anyway and contacted for a local source. And all I do is to peel the cukes, scoop out the seeds, chop them, salt and pepper and then pour the vinegar over them and chill. Then I eat them all week long!
