What did ya eat today - Tuesday?
Wow, I am late, just got home busy day today!
B: left over greek chicken salad from yesterday (kinda soggy) picked the chicken and cheese out mainly.
L: Atkins Protein Bar - Peanut butter granola
S: SF Chai Tea Latte from a little local coffee place - used soy milk.
D: 3 oz chicken, bite of a plain pork rib and 1/4 ear of corn
S: mini bag of popcorn
I have to be hitting on 1000 calories door.. i haven't added it up yet today, so not like me.. just a crazy day!
Hope you guys were able to track better than me today!
That doesn't sound like any where near 1000 cals. But what do I know.
Here's a nightmare of a day for you....
1) protein shake
2) 1/2 atkins bar w/ 2 oz milk
3) glass of milk 10 oz. (skim)
4) 1 oz turkey jerky
5) turkey and cheese roll up (1 oz turkey .5 oz cheese)
6) 2 pieces whole grain rye toast plain
7) 1/3 wendy's bacon baked potato

cals 921, fat 17, carb 108, protein 89g
I'm finding it hard to eat in general...even though it doesn't look like it...LOL. It seems in order to manage my morning sickness I HAVE to eat lesser amounts and more often. I've found that upping my carbs in the form of potato or whole grains seems to help settle things. I'll sure be happy when the nausea subsides and the thought of food no longer makes me want to vomit.
I went to the store and bought some soups and yogurt (hope I can stomach that) in hopes of having something easy on my stomach. Meats and such just don't sit well, but I know I need to eat them. It was much easier when I could eat fish and shrimp, but apparently that's a no no during pregnancy due to mercury. *sigh*
Yes, I'm making it a goal to do better tomorrow!!!

Didn't do well at all staying on plan today. I was too exhausted from yesterday and felt really munchy (must also be pms'ing) so I just made sure to eat things that were 'safe'. Ate too many times but did manage to stay within the calorie budget so far.
1 cup strawberries
1/2 cup egg substitute, 1/4 cup salsa
2 1/2 oz. chicken, 1 tab. low cal bbq sauce, 1/2 cup cucumbers
1 curves bar
leftover mixed salad w/1 tab. lf ranch dressing, 1/4 cup rice crackers
1 cup strawberry cereal
1/3 cup nsa ice cream
1 mini bag popcorn
1 sf fudgesicle
Numbers aren't great...709 cal, 102 carbs (!!!), 14 g. fat, 47 g. protein
Back to work again tomorrow so it will be much easier to stay on track. It will be a better day!
Hey Molly, yeah maybe a little low on protein but ya know.. we all have these days. Must have been in the stars today.. It wasn't by best day either b/c I was out and about, i felt I made good choices considering but still makes it hard.. i like the comfort of my own home, stove and fridge... life is so much easier.. i should just be a hermit LOL. I do think its good to have these off days once in a while.. i think it keeps the body guessing.. I try to tell this to myself anyways ;) Tomorrow is a new day for all of us. *hugs*
Melissa, isn't nice to have a busy day. Sometimes, I love them but sometimes a don't like them. I have to have my days just in between.
Here's what eat today:
b-1/2 cup special k with almonds, sprinkle with raisins and walnuts
1/2 cup skim milk
small prune
L-2 ozs of peanut
1 cheese string
1 sl ham and 2 sl salami
s-atkins protein bar
d-about 6 shrimps, 1 small spoon of white rice and 2 sl sweet plaitains.
s-sf ice cream bar
I have no idea about my calories, too ashamed to put on fitday.....
