Well, its that time again! The weeks really do just fly by anymore.. I know I keep saying that! So this week's question I have to piggyback off the November board (sorry Nov kids, I lurk there as well! Thanks for letting me borrow your question!) I hope I haven't asked this one before, if I did, please excuse me ;) Question: What have you been doing to reward yourself for meeting your mini weight loss goals along the way? What is your ultimate reward for getting to your long-term actual weight loss goal? HW: 328 SW: 280 LW: 169.5 CW: 167.5 Total lost: 112.5 since surgery, total loss is 161.5!!! Anyone else having a hard time wrapping their heads around their amazing losses!?!? I am thrilled! Answer to question: I like buying clothes are getting my hair done for my mini goals. I give myself pedicures at home also. I am doing two things for myself when I reach my actual goal! I am going on the WLS Cruise in January '08 with some of the girls on the RNY board and while I am there I am getting an hour long massage which I have never done before!!!! And of course.. clothes, clothes, clothes!!! Here is to a great week for exercise and good eating! Keep the focus and great work going everyone!!! I am so proud of all of us for being accountable and keeping our eyes on the prize!!! How did you do this week?

You had a great week considering how much you struggled with adding those extra carbs, way to go!!! 112.5 since surgery and 161.5 total...absolutely amazing!!! I'm sure having a hard time grasping my loss too. And also thrilled! Here's my numbers this week: HW: 268 SW: 230 LW: 140 CW: 138 I actually weighed 137 yesterday but all that eating packed on another pound. Oh well. That brings me to 92 pounds off since surgery. But it is 117 pounds lost since I started working with Dr. Rawlins in Jan. '06 which just stuns me. It is even harder to imagine that I'm down a grand total of 130 pounds from my highest-ever weight. How in the world did my bones, heart, lungs carry that???? Answer to question...shopping!!! Clothes and shoes are such a thrill now. I'm a little worried about buying shoes becoming a substitute for stress eating. Have to work at controlling that and saving it for short term goal rewards. My original ultimate reward for getting to goal was a Dooney and Bourke purse which I did get but now I'm thinking that I need a reset. Definitely want the new boobies but that prolli shouldn't be a reward so much as mental health improvement so I'm still thinking. Maybe I could talk DH into a hot tub for 5 years maintained at goal? They do say that 5 years is when the regaining really starts becoming a problem. Maybe that goal would help keep me focused on not letting that happen. What do you think? Molly (7 pounds under freakin' goal...jumping up and down!!!)

My abd. Hit the button too soon. HW: 372 SW: 349 LW: 215 CW: 213 I lost 2 pounds this week and was stalled for 2 weeks before that. Definitely starting to get depressed about it. But on the other hand I am down a total of 159 pounds which I could never have done before. As for rewards, when I lost 100 pounds I got myself a new tattoo. Which I love by the way. When I reach goal and after PS I will be getting a butterfly tattoo as a tramp stamp (lower back) and a belly button ring. Those rewards are kind of for my hubby too. He thinks both are sexy, but I would not even consider them b4 this surgery. I mean what's the point of having your belly button pierced if it is smushed between fat rolls

Aw I understand the belly button ring thing. I honestly wold like one too but only if I end up with a TT. I am realizing now that i have asked this question before.. sorry guys! Great job on the 2 lb loss.. our bodies have to recover from time to time.. u had a huge loss a while back remember that also! You are doing great!!

HW: 265 SW: 240 LW: 176 CW: 175 I"ve not really been rewarding myself since my weight loss is so slow...I've hit only one mini goal. Loss since surgery is 65lbs...and 90 lbs total. When I"m at goal, I intend on getting a tummy tuck...that will be my treat to myself. I went shopping yesterday for an outfit for an upcoming wedding and saw just how bad my skin issues were. I have no doubt if it weren't for skin, I could be at least 2 sizes smaller. It was depressing and I walked away with nothing because, well, it was just depressing and nothing looked good. Oh well...all in due time I suppose. Congrats to everyone else on their amazing success!!!
