Sunday- Goals for today
Again, I did not do so great on my goals. At least not the eating part. I did have a few protein drinks with banana and yoogurt. This is at least keeping my calories, protein level and blood pressure and a better level.
We are supposed to have a huge picnic today for church at a park and have mass there, but it is raining so I doubt I will go. Too bad, I know the babies would have loved it. They love going to mass. So, I guess today I will just get some laundry done and go by some protein powder. I of course will try to feel positive today and enjoy the wonderful gift of my family. Take care everyone and enjoy the day~ Terisa
Hi Terisa, sorry I missed out on the posts today. It was another work day for me and then big shopping to get ready to come home and do cooking/cleaning blitz. It has been a very busy and productive day AND I think it will have a very positive outcome on the family gathering tomorrow. By doing the bbq'ing today it has lifted a huge burden from my husband's shoulders and I think he is actually looking forward to spending time with his family. Wow! I will very carefully reheat everything tomorrow so that it will still taste great. Crossing fingers...
My goals/lists for today were about 6 pages long and though not everything got done, a lot did get done. They were mostly chore things but if i can get through drudge work like that it gives me a lift and that is good for my mood.
Being in the kitchen all day was a little tough, everything smelled so good! I made a big, 3-cup bowl of watermelon chunks and just grazed on it most of the afternoon. No clue if the potato salad turned out ok, I didn't taste so much as a lick of it. The baked beans however....ooh I ate a bit over half a cup and am now paying for it. Used the S&W Splenda baked beans. Hope nobody minds. (it tasted so yummy!) I'd just better not eat it until after they leave or I won't be socially acceptable.
I probably won't be online tomorrow at all so I'll just say that Monday's goals are not to get stressed out, enjoy my husband's family, take a lot of pictures and have fun!
Have a good Monday (a dry one?) and hope you are able to eat better!
