Friday- Goals for Today
I have decided that I am going to post my goals for today. I would like for anyone else *****ads this to post their goals too, no matter how big or how small.
1. I am going to have a good non-stressful day with my daughter.
2. I am going to eat at least 2 meals today.
3. I will consume at least 500 calories and 40 protein.
4. I will go shopping and buy some new size 10 pants!! Woo Hoo!
5. I am going to enjoy the beautiful sunshine
6. I am going to pick my son up from his dad's and give him a big hug. (I have not seen him in 2 weeks)
7. I will thank God for all the wonderful blessings in my life and pray for all WSL patients, any suffering from obesity, and especially my Dec family..
Those are some of my goals. I have a lot of other things I plan on doing, but these are the most important to me today. I hope everyone has a wonderful and happy Friday. Peace, blessings, and happiness to everyone!

(........btw i am still working on getting a picture or two on my profile.......but i tend to be really critical about every photo i see of myself! )
We are taking a trip to the Coast (leaving in about 21 minutes) -
Goal #1 is to choose wisely when my husband stops at the BURGER JOINT for lunch- we stop at the same place everytime and there is NOTHING there worth eating.
Goal #2 is to get all my water in....i dont usually have an issue but when i am traveling in the car ...i tend to cut back
Goal #3 Enjoy the out doors and the sunshine --it has been raining here for too long!
Have a great weekend--our place at the coast has no telephone or internet connection so i am signing off until Monday!

I read your reply to my post and here are my goals for today:
1. I am not going to eat any M&Ms today. Instead I will eat a couple of cherries.
2. I will not beat myself up today for any mistakes I make - I will forgive myself.
3. I will drink at least 40 oz of fluid today - water or crystal lite.
4. I will walk around the block tonight before I go to bed.
5. If I get overwhelmed or emotional today I will choose to do something positive that doesn't involved eating as a distraction.

What a great idea, Terisa! I'm sitting here home from work a little deflated and tired and can't think of much beyond getting some laundry done and getting ready for the family to get home in a few hours. Maybe a good goal would be to relax in the quiet now and not let them stress me out when they arrive. When DH spends time with his family he usually comes home in a foul mood and you-know-what runs downhill.
