Melissa, sorry you didn't get to go to the wedding. Although at least you didn't have to face the cake. I'm so proud of you being able to eat ham! It has been a problem meat for me since I got my first pouch. In order to go down it has to be the most moist, tender portion near the bone off a big ham and have a bite of something else with it (used to always be potatoes!). For lunch I ended up having some Mahi Mahi leftovers and used my brand new scale, the one Terri recommended. I'd previously been 'measuring' my meats by volume and not weight. Whoa am I amazed that I was eating so little before! My meat portions were roughly 1 1/2 ounces. So I weighed out 3 ounces and then got it down with 1/4 cup 0% fage and for a treat afterwards gave myself 6 bing cherries for 'dessert'. So, sparkpeople says my proteins are at 98 already for the day...guess I'd better just have veggies for dinner. I am starting to worry about having too many protien grams a day now and never thought that would happen. I sampled the EAS cafe caramel and like it (not as well as the chocolate, tho). Will have some tomorrow with an added shot of decaf espresso and maybe some sf syrup too. Compared to my Mice Milk latte today it was a little plain. So glad you raved about it on the bypass board, I'd never have tried it otherwise. Thank you! Hope you feel better soon.

Hey Molly true about the cake! Amazing how terri opened our eyes to weighing vs measuring, I haven't been eating as much meat as I thought either. I have tolerated all meats since surgery never got a thing stuck.. i know I am strange. Pouch of steel here. But I am not complaining. I have lots of restriction still yet nothing stuck, I couldnt' be happier on that account!

Terisa, are you able to get in any calories in your liquids? That EAS cafe caramel that Terri got Melissa to try really is good. (I like the chocolate better but how nice to have a change, too.) And it is only 11 ounces so it isn't like you have to force down a whole huge Isopure to get in a lot of protein. Although, if you like Isopure that would be a good choice on days like today too. hang in there!!! Molly

Molly, I did manage to eat a little for dinner. I had 3 bites of "the other white meat" grilled and 2 bites of corn. I was too full after that to eat any more. As for liquids I stick to dasani grape or strawberry water. No calories or protein in that. Never been one for sweet tasting things at all. Is the EAS drink like a coffee tasting drink? If so there is no way I can do it. Cannot stand coffee, I know, I know, you would not understand ~ Terisa

I'm really glad we do these because it shocks me when I get the tally at the end of the day. On days that I think I've eaten really well, I'm over on everything...on days when I think ugh...I've eaten waaay too much, I've done much less. Weird how that works for me. Anyway...here's today's info. 1) atkins protein bar w/ skim milk 2) protein shake 3) 1/4 cup kashi go lean (NOT CRUNCH) 1/4 cup skim milk 4) small baked potato w/sour cream (bad, i know) 6) 3 almonds cals 681, fat 20, carbs 76, protein 58
