Counting help
Good Morning everyone, well had big eye opener yesterday, started using Fit a Day to count calories and protien etc. I have been having a hard time ( 7 months out) right now losing it is going up two then down two. decided to have a closer look because I am exercising and drinking water. My carbs are high. Anyway can anyone please tell me the counts to watch and amounts such as I know I need 80-100 protien and what is count to stay under for carbs and fats. We are suppose to stay below 900 calories correct, thank you and hope you your day is great Kelly
Kelly, I hope Melissa will be able to check in sometime when her shifts are over because she has some really good numbers from her surgeon/nut. My surgeon's info focuses on proteins (it says 60-80 daily) and just says to limit carbs to those found naturally in fruits and dairy and only use complex carbs (rice, bread, pasta) in teaspoon amounts and consider them as your condiments now. Now that I am working on maintenance I am trying to keep my calories under my nut's 1100 level (personally, I go by 1000) and the carbs below 100. When I was still losing past the 6 month mark my calories were supposed to be 800.
I use sparkpeople.com instead of fitday, it is basically the same thing. The daily numbers they want me to consume are just ridiculous. I'd gain so much weight if I went by their totals!!!
Sorry if none of this makes any sense, I was up really late last night. We were having such a good time relaxing in the backyard burning up old tree limbs and trimmings. It is amazing how messing up your body's time clock messes with your head the next day.
