***Tuesday Weekly Weigh-In*** 7/24/07
Hello, Hello Everyone! It's that time again, Tuesday weigh-in day! The weeks really roll around here fast don't they! Ok so question for the week... If you are comfortable in sharing.. What size did you start out in tops/bottoms, what size are you now, and what size do you dream of being in?
HW: 328
SW: 280
LW: 195
CW: 194.5 (don't really count the .5's so really no loss for me this week but hey it isn't a gain so I will take it! Here is to hoping for better losses next week!)
I started in a 28 bottoms, 30/32 tops. I am not in a 12 bottom, L/XL or 14/16 top. I dream of a 6/8 but I am already on cloud nine with a 12. Anything 10 or lower would be totally awesome.
How about you? How did you do this week?
HW: 265
SW: 240
LW: 176
CW: 179 (3 lbs gain was going to blame on AF, but since a positive pregnancy test last night, I'm going to blame that)
My pants size I couldn't HONESTLY tell you because I'd buy stretchy pants. I would have to guess at a minimum of 28 for non elastic waist. Top, while I could go 26/28 I liked the looser fitting 30/32. Right now I'm comfortable in a 1X or 18W which is loose, and a XL or 16W is form fitting, like it should. Pants, I just tried on a pair of Old Navy jeans size 18 short and they fit. They didn't look good, because of the stomach skin issue I have, it just pushes it up over the top, even though the pants aren't tight. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be a size 5 again. I felt well at that size, and didn't look sickly or fat. Since the positive test though, that's not happening for quite some time yet. *sigh*
Melissa...are you sure 195 is correct?? I was pretty sure you were in the 170's with me.
You're welcome...and error correction, I'm 177, I read the scale wrong. Hey, it was early..way too early for me...4:30 am.
I'll let you know what I think about it when I stop freaking out about it. I'm feeling better about it today than I was last night, for sure. It's a lot to take in. Far as I was concerned, I had all the children I was going to have. Going through rocky time in my marriage, finances, etc. We'll make it though, we always have. I think my biggest concern now (after the initial shock wears down) is the safety and well being of both myself and the baby. Hope I can still hang out here with you guys even though my weight will now be headed in the opposite direction. And thank you for the well wishes.
Well I can imagine how much of a shock it must be for you yet exciting all at the same time! You have a good outlook and between your surgeon and OB you should do just fine and OF course you can still come here. I am very interested to hear what the recommendations will be for you with this operation and being pregnant, we will all learn from you! Very excited for you! Congrats!
Sweet!! I can be the guinea pig! Thank you again, I am even more at ease with this now that the shock is wearing off. I see my OB tomorrow and my surgeon and nut on Monday. And of course I'm more than willing to keep everyone updated on stuff so you all know what to expect. (Those that eventually plan on expecting)
