Hey Guys! Hope everyone is having a great Thursday! B: 1 egg, 2 oz lean ham steak. 146 cals, 17 proteins. L: My Wrap: One 6" whole grain/high fiber tortilla, 1 light swiss laughing cow cheese, 3 oz deli oven roasted turkey meat, some chopped romaine and diced red onion, splash of vinegar and sprinkle of greek seasoning. 238 cals, 29 proteins S: Iced SF decaff Vanilla Latte using light vanilla soy milk. 60 cals, 6 proteins D: 3. oz chicken and 1/2 cup of squash/zuchinni grilled. 148 cals, 26 proteins D #2: 1 cup of chili at work around 3am. 200 cals, 20 proteins. about 800 cals, 45 carbs, 26 fats, and 99 proteins

Ok now, I've been battling a migraine for the last two days but I'm pretty sure it is still Thursday isn't it? Tonight is support group and there is no way I'm missing it so after this post I'm going to lay down with an icepack and see if it will help. Today's food: 1) frosty protein shake 2) 200 cal protein bar 3) 3 oz. chicken, 1 tab. lf ranch dressig, 1/4 cup homemade creamed spinach, 1/3 cup kashi go lean 4) 1 small banana (yes, the whole thing which is a first post-op for me!) 5) 1/2 cup cucumbers, 1 med. peach 6) don't know...dinner will be rushed so we'll see??? Hi, today has been my worst day so far. I woke late to go to work and had did not eat breakfast before leaving the house and did not pack lunch thinking that I will be able to have a Chili from Wendys but what a misktake. I could not find the wendys and by the time I did, it was too crowded and I need to go back to work(I only get half hour for lunch). So far: b-2 south beach diet protein bars and 1 nectarine s-about 4 ounces of fried cheese-melted white cheese-it's not fried-I used PAM and 4 strawberries d-I am not cooking tonite, whatever I can find in the refregiration that's good for me. Have a great one!

1- 1/4 cup kashi w/ 1/4 cup lt. vanilla soy milk 2- 2 oz turkey lunch meat 3- 1/2 banana w/ 1 tsp natural pb 4- 2 crustless mini quiches (thanks for the recipe btw!! whole family LOVES them) 5- 1/2 slice american cheese And somewhere in there I had a protein shake and 8 oz. skim milk I'm still not feeling well enough to add up calories/proteins and such.

Hey Everybody! Happy almost Friday... what a week! Sounds like we all had a hectic week. Found a new snack today at the grocery store - more of a treat than a snack.... Kozy Shack sugar free pudding cups in great flavors - I bought Black Forest and it is sugar free chocolate pudding with cherries on the bottom. They had two other types too - one was vanilla something and another chocolate type - sorry I can remember. 70 calories, 4 sugar, 2 protein (not much) and sweetened with Splenda. And they tasted very good, a bit more solid than jello pudding and the cherries were not too sweet. Anyway: B - Kashi, banana (almost all of it .... is that bad????) S - South Beach snack bar - 140 cal. L - salad greens with leftover salmon and wasabi peas for crunch, organic smoked tomato dressing and side of watermelon s - laughing cow cheese lite wedge and 12 all bran crackers d - 1/4 chicken breast - just couldnt get it down, bean and veggie salad, 1/4 of of my mother in laws meatball s - kozy pudding ... mmmm!

Hi everyone, I am trying to figure out the Kashi stuff, is it cereal? I seen some at Wal-mart, but it had like 13 grams of sugar in it, it was a breakfast cereal. Is there something else you all are eating, and where do you buy it, and is it good. Thanks for posting what all you have ate for the day, I am still not doing very well with my protein, I am trying and everything is getting much better. I will try to post what I eat , This site is very helpful, thanks everyone. Leatha

It is a breakfast cereal and does have that much sugar per one cup serving. I feel it's fine for me to eat (no dumping yet) because I usually eat 1/2 cup or less. Doc likes 5g or less of sugar per serving, so I consider myself within those limits. There's NO WAY I can eat an entire cup of that cereal. So, make sure you're checking the serving size when considering all nutritional information. I love it because it gives me my crunch fix as well as it sticking with me and being quite filling.
