Anyone else??
Ok all you menstruating ladies out there...I'm wondering if anyone else now gets nauseated right before or during their cycle??? I'm starting to notice that type of pattern. I've eaten 3 times today (I've been up since 4am...be nice ) and after each time, I've been incredibly nauseated. I've not yet thrown up though...thankfully. So, anyone else??
So far I have not had any problems at all. I was a little concerned about the weight gain since this is such an important time to lose the weight, but no problems so far. I know some people do not like it, but other than the possible weight gain I am not sure why. I know there was no way I could take another pill everyday. I take enough now and just could not stomache another one. What I would really love is norplant. I had used that several years ago and it was perfect. Too bad they do not offer it in the US anymore due to supply and demand. No periods on that one either...for 3 years!
The other issue I had is that it intensifies depression issues. I was unaware of this, also I was unaware that I even had the issues. OMGOSH...I was a MONSTER! Mood swings beyond belief. I would cry (literally bawl my eyes out) for a minimum of 3 hours straight each of the first 3 days after receiving the shot, for no known reason. Just hysterical crying. Weight gain was a huge issue, (another tmi alert) and then there was the 93 day long period in which I bled so heavily, I would have to use towels. Other's I've known have also had the same issues. I'm SO glad it's working for you!! I wouldn't wish what I went through on my worst enemy...well...that's if I had them.
I struggled with birth control for a while before surgery. I get pregnant sooooo easily natural family planning is not really an option at this point. I am Catholic so I had such a hard time with it. I did speak to my priest and he said that during this time it is perfectly fine to use birth control so that was quite a relief for me. I would be perfectly fine with practicing abstinence, but my husband did not like the idea too much.
So, I had to choose something because I did not want to get pregnant again and risk hurting the baby. Besides, I have 4 kids now. Ages 16, 12, one that will be 3 on Sunday and one that just turned 2 a couple weeks ago. I am already sooo busy with the kids I have. Let me know if you decide to start using something and how it works for you. I do like to have other options and know how it is working for others.
