I recently hit the down 150 mark and my hubby wanted to know if I was going to get myself a reward, so I was wondering what type of rewards did you get yourself for reaching a goal? When I lost a 100 pounds a got a new tattoo, that I love, and after I reach goal and have plastics I plan on getting a butterfly tramp stamp . Pre-op rewards always were a dinner out or food of some sort so need some fresh ideas.

Hmmm.... how about jewlery. I have always thought that when I reach my goal I will buy myself some Tiffany jewlery to memorialize the occasion! For my intermediate goals I am with Melissa on the clothing, nails and hair - my motto is that it is okay to spend money on your hair cause you wear it everyday. What tattoo did you get? I have two but stopped there... getting another one is tempting but I will chicken out. Rebecca PS - What is a tramp stamp?!?!?!??!?!?!

I got 3 diffrent size stars on the back of my left shoulder. My son's name is in one, my daughter's in another and right now the third one is empty, but I have decided to go back and have my starting weight put in it. I also have a Winnie the Pooh on my right ankle, that one is about 10 years old. A tramp stamp is the one on your lower back. I don't want to get it until after plastics because of distortion from the skin being pulled. I would also like to get an anklet of daisy around my left ankle. I never though I would want more than one, but they are addicting and the 2nd one did not hurt nearly as bad as the first. Wouldn't mind some new jewelry either.

Oh, I'm so boring compared to you! I got myself a Dooney & Bourke purse. Where I work everybody things they are wonderful and I thought it was so stupid to spend so much money on a purse but the more I saw this particular one the more I wanted it so when I got to goal it was my treat. Molly

They have a pink one I'd LOVE to have...though I cannot see spending the money when the kids have braces that need to come off.

I guess I should set smaller goals and reward myself, but rarely do I treat myself to anything. Wait...NOT true. Money's been tight, but mom had gotten me a gift card, so I went and had my hair done after losing 50lbs...at the salon...that costs tons!! Unfortunately I'm due again, and I'm a salon snob...I'll only go there, so here I sit all raggedy.

Shawn - I have a girl that does hair in her basement in Rochester - my cut, highlites and lowlites are $55 - a steal and she does a really great job. Do you get up this way often? If so, let me know and I will give you her phone number! Rebecca

That IS a steal! Last time I went, it was $125 for cut, highlights, and some shampoo. Oh but I do adore her. I will have to see what my schedule looks like...sounds like it may just be worth the trip!

I planned to splurge on a Vera Wang nightgown (real sexy) when I got to 100 lbs. lost, but now that I am there I am probally going to be a little more practical, but i can't decide.
