Sorry late - What did ya eat today - Tuesday?

B: 1 egg, 2 oz lean ham steak L: Went to applebees, had the inside of half of one of those chicken fajita roll ups. No fajita. It was yummy. I hate tho that I cannot count the cals, had plenty of chicken in it and the cheese stuck to the fajita so mainly lettuce, onion and chicken. S: Homeade decaff, SF cinnamon dolce latte with light vanilla soy milk, squirt of light whip, sprinkle of nutmeg/cinnamon. D: Making taco salads (minus the chips/shell) using tomatoes and onions from my garden (yum) with some extra lean ground beef (rinsed) and FF refried beans, lettuce, low fat cheese and FF sour cream/salsa. Yumo! S: SF bomb pop, 1 mini bag of popcorn Cals 938, carbs 42, fat 38, protein 96 proteins

Good Morning, Breakfast: Kashi cereal with yogurt Snack ;piece of cheddar cheese Lunch: broiled hamburger patty and cottage cheese snack Strawberry protien shake dinner; insides of a taco and two bites of Spanish rice snack: fruit salad not sure of cals etc.

Hello everyone, my name is Dawn and I have been a lurker for the most part BUT Melissa has inspired me to write down what i am eating and amazingly in only 3 short days it has already made a huge difference! Since i work outside of the home (& i always run late in the morning) my lunches and breakfasts usually dont vary much....but here it goes. B: 1 Lite & Fit Yogurt, 2oz Canadian Bacon, 1oz lowfat swiss L: 2oz Canadian Bacon with lowfat swiss, sliced tomato & 1 yogurt D: 3oz Pork Chop, 3 slices of tomato, 1/2 c spinach, 2 melba rounds S: 1 C strawberries According to my calculations this is 858 Calories 70 Carbs 34 Fat 79 Protein I know that my Carbs are high that is caused by the Yogurt & the crackers--not really worried about the yogurt...just need to cut out the crackers. THANKS YOU GUYS FOR INSPIRING ME!

Hi Dawn. So glad you came out of lurk mode.. we love having new faces show up here. Being accountable knowing you are gonna post what you ate.. REALLY HELPS ME! I have posted DAILY on the RNY board since I was 2 months out what I have eaten so I am always accountable. If I goof up (which honestly I rarely do but I can see as we get further out how it gets harder) I do tell you. We are all human and we just gotta make good choices.. if we eat something with more calories then we need to lower it the next meal and so on. I think these december folks are like my family and I think you will think so too. There aren't many of us. If you visit the Jan 07 board there are a million of them there but I like our close small knit family here but we are always wanting to grow in size too so please keep coming and I am glad this post is helping you! Hey Melissa, last post here before I head out the door to work... Somewhere yesterday I posted what I ate and had expected to lose weight this morning after not eatiing half the day yesterday. But I am mad...was on an IV drip for two hours yesterday and whatever is in that stuff made me retain fluid like mad! I woke up all puffy and swollen this morning with a headache (*that* is prolli from the anesthesia) and up a whole pound. Bleh! Today will be extra hot again so it will be no trouble pushing the fluids and I hope to work extra hard today and sweat out all that iv stuff. If I have to have another EGD done do you think I can call ahead like with airlines and request the low-cal drip? hahaha Molly

Hi Molly you are too funny, ya know its all water weight and ya know what look at it as your body prolli needed the fluids anyway.. its short term and will be off in a few days.. no big thing. I am glad everything turned out ok on your EGD, that is wonderful news! Why do you have to have another one? Have a great day today Molly!

bfast - protien shake snack - 1 tbs pb, 1 string cheese lunch - 2oz roast beef w/mustard snack -whole grain rice cake, and 4oz dried mango(I had a breakdown with the mango , very bad) dinner - 3oz ckn w/salsa, 3oz black beans snack -2 sf popcicles Have a great day Erin

Hi Melissa...I know I really have been trying to eat less, like let me see how I feel on 3-6oz of food, instead of the 8oz...less calories. I want to retrain my pouch to be satistfied with the smaller amounts. I seem to be ok througout the day, but dinner I get a little hungry so I have been doing 6oz. I also have been trying to follow the plateau way of eating, which is 3oz at a time. Well I am going to Physical Therapy today for my back, just so I can get some ideas on excercises, I'll just do them at home....I'll let you know how I am doing.. Have a great day!! Erin
