Heartburn???

My 6 month follow-up is not for a couple of weeks and of course I will mention this to my surgeon but is anyone else having heartburn? I took Nexium before surgery and have not had a problem since having surgery but my understanding was that this goes away. It just started up maybe a week ago..any thoughts?

I know acid reflux is supposed to be cured by this surgery too, but I have it now and did not have it before surgery. I would go ahead and call the surgeons office tomorrow to see what they suggest for you. It is important to be very careful that you do not do any damage when you have had this surgery. Sundi, I had heartburn preop, but not at all since surgery...have you had any issues with ulcers?? Sorry your are experiencing this. Definitly ask your DR Take care, Erin
