Hi Steven! Glad you are joining us on weekly weigh in! Congrats on the 161 lbs down! That is awesome.. you men just shed off that weight! My husband lost 180 lbs with his RNY in 7 months when he had his RNY 5 years ago, not sure how you guys do it, but ya got it goin' on!!! If you PM Lizzy L. on the main board she can help you out. Just start a topic with her name in the topic line.. she is very sweet and always gets back to everyone. Congrats again!!!
Great job Melissa on your 1 lb loss! That is wonderful I know what you mean.. I make myself stay motivated but like this week is Aunt Flo week and I get the achiest legs during this week and so jogging on the treadmill just sounds very unappealing.. I haven't done it most of the week mainly walked and even then not enough. You have to come up with a way that makes you like it.. reward yourself with a bubble bath for doing it or reading a good chapter in a book if you do it, etc. You can do it! Keep up the good work!
Hi, I'm new on this message board. My name is Connie, I had my surgery 12-18-06 in Georgetown, KY. I would like to answer your question of the wk. Not only do I have more energy, I can actually get my leg up close to my chest to paint my toes nails w/o propping them like before. I can also cross my legs which I know is not good for circualtion, but it makes me feel good to beable to do it .
