Good Tuesday Morning December Babies! Can ya believe it is share what ya weigh day again already? Time sure moves fast these days. Summer is more than 1/2 over and I just can't believe it! I am sure enjoying my summer more this year as I know you guys probably are too! Question for the week: What are some things that you are doing now that you didn't do preop, either because you didn't feel you could because of your weight or lacked the confidence to do it before? HW: 328 SW: 280 LW: 178.5 CW: 175 Pounds lost: 3.5 for the week Answer to weekly question: I started running when I was at 230ish pounds. I had been walking on the treadmill and just didn't feel like I was getting a good enough workout and found myself instinctfully jogging.. it was a weird thing but it felt good. Only did a couple mins and then increased it ever so slowly to where I am now running 2 miles a day 5 days a week on an incline (treadmill). I love that I can say that I run 10 miles a week and prolli walk at least 5 or more miles in addition. That is my biggest one. How did you do this week?!?!

HW: 372 SW: 349 LW: 223 CW: 215 Pounds lost: 8 for the week I think chasing my kids around is the biggest thing for me. I can do it without huffing and puffing and sweating a river.

Congrats and keep up the great work!

Good Morning! How fun it is to be home and say that to you in the middle of the week. Today I'll have another endoscopy to look at ol' pouchie so I got to sleep in...what a luxury!!! It is surprising that summer is half over already because it seems that I am even busier this year than last year and I haven't had a chance to get out and do much more than my normal gardening. Here's this week's stats: HW: 268 SW: 230 LW: 241.5 CW: 242 This week up half a pound. I'm not bugged at all by this half a pound because last week during my period I was up 4 pounds! (which I did not record on my ticker, shame!) Feels like I am in a bounce zone now. I have been bouncing around between 141.5 and 145 (since I weigh daily). With today's procedure I'll prob. lose the half pound since I won't be eating till I get back home around 3 or 4 and be very groggy, will prolli go to bed early. We'll see. Answer to weekly question: This is the first summer I haven't needed a 'sleep aid' of one form or another. With all the extra weight it was as if I couldn't shut off from my stress when I needed to in the evening (I have to get to bed by 8 or 9 p.m. since I normally get up at 3 a.m.). My body would be exhausted and my mind would be churning 100mph. Without a prescription sleeping pill or an antihistimine I'd just lay there listening to summer life going on all around and toss and turn for hours. Summers were always hard, dealing with the heat rashes, constant exhaustion, wanting to eat more and more to compensate for being so tired, etc. Maybe another big componant of this is my anti depressant...certainly I must credit it for helping me with my stress but also just weighing less and being able to move so much more during my day is a big part too. Physical activity feels good now, not as draining as before. Thank you for the good question, Melissa. Have a great day everybody! I'll let you know how the endoscopy goes when my brain unfogs from it. Molly

Hey, I'm back and so groggy. It went well, if I talked to the dr. I don't remember it but what my sheet says is 'normal esophagus, normal gastric bypass anatomy was identified. Anastemosis was widely patent with no ulcerations. Normal examinied jejunum.' Sounds excellent to me. Had a nice, cold choc. rtd protein shake with me and got it down while I waited for hubbie. Have had a soy flatbread with 2 oz. chicken and 1 slice 2% cheese on it and 1 tsp. ff sour cream too once we got home. So that is two feedings out of the way and I prolli only have to worry about one more today before I crash for the night. They had an iv going for about an hour so I will prob. have a gain tomorrow morning, ick. Now maybe I can discontinue some of the tummy meds. So glad the ulcers have healed, that is always a concern every time my pouch hurts. Can't see very straight hope I corrected all the typos. TTYL molly
