Hey December Babies! I am excited about this first thread! I am hoping to add a question of the week here as well, hope you don't mind. So lets post our high weight (HW), surgery weight (SW), last weeks weight (LW) and current weight (CW), total pounds lost for the week. What is your favorite food right now? If it involves a recipe would ya mind sharing it? It can be as simple as a light mozz cheesestick, doesn't matter. Ok here it goes! HW: 328 SW: 280 LW: 180 CW: 178.5 Pounds lost for week: 1.5 It is moving in the right direction! It wasn't much of a loss but I will take it! I am down a total of 150 pounds today! I don't count the .5's honestly! Very excited about that! My favorite food is a toss up between my wrap I make and SF bomb pops! The wrap is a smaller whole grain/high fiber tortilla that I spread laughing cow cheese on (light) then add like 3 oz of deli meat to it and romaine lettuce, splash of white vinegar, some chopped onion and greek seasoning, roll it up and cut it in half. How did you do this week???

hw: 250 sw: 247 lw: 170 cw: 168 2 pounds lost...but I've been losing these same 2 pounds for a month now so...my favorite food right now is frozen bananas with a smidge of SF choc syrup drizzled over it. I used to eat ice cream every day before surgery and this helps curb any craving I might have for ice cream. I really needed to kick my stall in the butt so I am cutting WAY back on carbs and maybe I'll get moving this week! Only 21 pounds to go till I can join the century club....I'm just now realizing that I might be able to do it!!!

HW: 285 SW: 277 LW: 185 CW: 183 Pounds lost for week: 2 I haven't been eating like I should - not enough protein, and too many carbs. I am getting back to my protein already - started yesterday. I also went to a support group meeting yesterday and shared - which keeps me accountable. Most everyone is supportive, but our support group lead (an RN) is very good about reminding us to stay on track and to give us a positive shove in the right direction. It was just what I needed. My favorite food right now is turkey and swiss cheese. I buy the little lunch packs from Oscar Meyer and only have half of the crackers. Your wrap sound yummy - I'm going to try it. I also need to try your pancakes too. Thanks for always keeping us connected with these surveys Melissa - you are awesome!

Hi Cordelia! SO glad to see you posting! I do think admitting we have an issue with certain foods etc, is the first step to making it better. Support groups are wonderful in that regard. I am glad your leader is helping you. I am an RN too so we do know a thing or two about nutrition but as you know I had surgery too so sometimes we don't always make the best choices. Your snack sounds very yummy. Thanks for sharing that as well! Congrats on the 2 pound loss

HW:372 SW:349 LW:224 CW:223 Pounds lost for week:1, but I have been bouncing from 224-222 for the last month I have been doing really bad on my food latley, but thanks to couple people on this board I am back on track for the second day in a row. Right now I am addicted to Starbucks, doesn't matter what time of day I always want one. I have been alternating between a Decaf, Non-fat, SF Hazelnut or vanilla hot latte. My husband says I am addicted. This is the first step to a cure, admitting it.

Ok Amy I gotta a suggestion to you since you are looking at the Latte ****d.. hot doesn't matter) transfer addict queen of the world! Go to walmart, get yourself a Mr. Coffee cappacino machine! It's 40 bucks I believe. Start making your own at home. This way you can control what goes into it. I get the SF syrups from walmart in the coffee aisle and I use light vanilla soy milk. A cup has only 60 cals! Otherwise the rest is cal free unless u want some light whip on top.. walmart sells that too and its 20 cals for a shot of that. I really think this helps me a lot. B/c one of the soy lattes at starbucks (b/c they use full fat) is like 120-150 cals.. i can do much better at home and maybe even have 2 in a day. It hasn't hurt my weight loss just make sure you track it in your cals. *hugs*

Thanks for the suggestion. I might have to stop on the way home. I have been tracking the claoires and it sucks that they are 130 calories. I've been using it in place of a snack.
