Sunday--What Did You Eat Today

Has everybody had a good weekend? Hope so! It has been a very good food day for me today! (and not to mention more heavy exercise in the garden, woohoo!) I think it is much easier to stay on program when I am not so physically tired from my job and able to get rested. During the week I work so hard (physically) and only get about 5 hours of sleep and that makes me so much hungrier. Today's food: 1) Frosty Protein Shake 2) 1/2 cup Kashi Go Lean 3) 2 oz. chopped chicken, 1 tab. light ranch dressing, a half-cup nsa tapioca pudding 4) 3/4 cup chopped marinated cucumbers (skin and seeds removed) 5) 1 oz. cheese-flavored soy crisps 6) undecided...maybe more Kashi since my ulcers have been bad this weekend and it helps to have something stay in my pouch like this. Starting Monday I have a two-week job reassignment and will have a lot less time to log on here so if you don't see much of me that is why. We'll see... Have a great week everybody! Molly

I did terribly today as far as nutrition goes. *sigh* 1) 1 cup watermelon chunks 2) 1 oz. dry roasted peanuts & 1/2 oz beef jerky 3) 1 cup watermelon chunks 4) 1.5 oz tuna w/ 1 tsp light mayo 5) 1 cup watermelon chunks (are you seeing a pattern here?) 6) Chicken burrito supreme minus tortilla 20+ oz of water 32 oz of decaf coffee w/ sf vanilla syrup and fat free half & half I'll be at the beach all day tomorrow and Tuesday, so I'm hoping that will keep me on track. I'm bringing lunchmeat and cheese to roll up along with mock potato salad (using cauliflower). I'll probably bring some fruit as well. My ulcer hasn't been behaving either. Bad thing for me is a lot of times it feels like hunger pains, so I try to hold off on eating. Like you, it feels better when my tummy stays full. Hope your week is well.

bfast- 1 soft boiled egg, 2 bites bagel lunch -grilled ckn salad dinner -1/2 cup pasta with ckn and red pesto sauce, 1/4 cup green beans( My sister made the pasta and it will be my last carb for the rest of the week. snack - 2 handfuls pecans and one ricecake and 6 strawberries lots of tea and water

Ok, now I am getting head-hungry for some fruit. Between the watermelon and the strawberries it sounds like I need to go to the grocery store after work tomorrow. The strawberries and raspberries in the garden are ripening right now but I try to leave them for the kids...you can't encourage a much healthier snack than that. Guess I'd better get to bed, that alarm clock goes off waaaay too early! Molly
