Overweight!
Hi Kids!
Today I weighed in at 179.5. This makes me overweight! I am so excited to not be obese anymore. I know a couple of us have hit this milestone lately and it is pretty exciting I must say! I have 1.5 more pounds until I am down 150 total with preop loss and post op. I hope to make it to my goal of 140 or less. But I know that I should be happy with whatever the outcome is from here on out. But I still follow the pouch rules and I want to get to my goals. Let's keep eachother motivated. We can do this!
I am thinking of doing a weekly weigh in. I have wanted to do it for a long time. Also I do a "what did you eat today" on the RNY board. I could copy and paste it here too? Anyone interested in that since we all seem to be concerned about what we are eating and how much? This might be good for comparison sake. I do work weekend nights (sat and sun night) so I don't like to count my monday morning weights.. they are off big time usually, b/c I have been drinking fluids, eating etc through the night. I would be willing to do a Tuesday morning weigh-in. We could be a little different than the other boards that do a monday one? I know that sounds weird but Mondays are just ick days for me in terms of weighing in.
Let me know what you guys think, I am open to all suggestions!
December babies - you are doing awesome! So proud of us, we have at least a couple more months of good weight loss opportunity and for some of us up to another year.. lets keep the good positive energy rolling to keep us all motivated! There is strength in numbers!
Congrats!! I just checked earlier today to see how much more before I'm "overweight". I still have 25 lbs to go...even though I weighed in this morning one pounder lighter than you. I'm a shorty. While I've only been counting my weight loss since surgery...I think maybe I should include the loss pre-op. 62lbs gone since surgery, 87 lbs total, with 53-58 lbs more to go. OMG...I just realized...I have less to lose than I've already lost!! I've been waiting for that for quite some time!!

I think I am gonna start a Tuesday weigh in.. and *try* to post as much as possible a daily what did you eat today post. I even don't always make it up there on the RNY board but I try as this is "my duty" on the RNY board as well as "did you exercise" But I will do the "what did you eat today posts in the evenings during the week when I am not working 12 hour shifts at the hospital (i work weekends). Maybe we can start this next tuesday with our weigh in stuff, this will be nice to keep eachother motivated. I visit the other boards (lurk mostly) and I love watching how much they are dropping week to week, its so fun.
Did you ever think you'd appreciate someone congratulating you on being overweight? LOL! CONGRATULATIONS!!! You are doing so awesome, girl!
The weekly weigh-in sounds like a good idea over here since we are all in such similar stages here versus some of the other boards. I always weigh on Mondays and count that as my 'official' weight for the week but since I'm naughty and weigh every single day then any day you say will be ok for me.
Also, would anybody be interested in a once a week recipe day? You could pick a day and then we'd all try to submit one recipe for the group to look over. I tried two new ones today from my Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery cookbook and will let you know how they turned out. (made the cheesecake and the strawberry/ricotta fluff for tomorrow)
Have you noticed how good it feels to go outside this summer? I went out dreading the heat today since DH was complaining how uncomfortable it was and it didn't feel bad at all. That is so neat!!!

Boy I thought the same thing.. what an independence day for us! So awesome! I think the recipe day thing sounds great! I love the idea. I have lots of recipes to share.. all saved in a word document so that would be easy for me to share (can we say copy and paste?) : ) I will try to start the weekly weigh-in on next Tuesday. I also will try to do the "what did you eat today posts" M-F like I do on the RNY board. If I am not around some time in the evening for whatever reason you guys can surely go ahead.. I never mind : ) People have to do that for me on the RNY board sometimes as you know! Hope you have a great great 4th Molly... hugs to you my friend and happy 7th month anniversary!
