ONEDERLAND!
I dont usually post only occasionaly if I think I have some info that might help someone. Or sometimes to offer congrats to others on the path. But I am usually pretty shy, but I just wanted to share with my fellow December "babies" that last wednesday which was six months and one day after surgery, I REACHED ONDERLAND! I honestly cannot remember the last time I was in the 'ones'. And as of today, I am 1lb away from the century club!
When I started this journey, I really didn't want to 'toot' my own horn or call any attention to myself, but man, I just cant hold it back. I am so excited, and today my neice and I went shopping and I was able to buy size 16, which I think I wore in the 8th grade. This surgery is just awesome!!!
Dear Amy:
Congratulations to both of us! I enter onederland today!! I have lost 122 lbs so far, and feeling great!! This Friday will be my 7 month after surgery and I am soooo happy I did this! It has been hard, sometimes slow, but when days like this come....WHAO...I really feel gretful and extremely happy and proud. Once again, congratulations, I know the great feeling you must be feeling!

Congrats Amy!! It IS a great feeling, isn't it?? I hadn't weighed under 200lbs, in at least 6 years, so I was doing the happy dance!! I'm finally at a weight now that I haven't seen in at least 10 years, so I'm even happier. Congrats on only having 1 lb to go. It may seem like it will take forever, but it will happen before you know it!! Good for you!!
That is so fantastic!
I have about 18 pounds to go before I hit my official 100 lbs lost.
It is a great surgery - so many positive aspects to the whole process. Someone was telling me how much my personality had changed - how happy and confident I seem to be now. Looking back, I can see how down and negative I had been. It's clear to me that this was one of my better choices.
Enjoy your success - and thanks for letting us enjoy it with you!
Congratulations!!! You go right on ahead and toot that horn as loudly as you can. You earned the right! A size 16...isn't that amazing?! I keep looking at my clothes and thinking there is no way they are going to fit and yet they do and they are much smaller than my 24's and 22's! You are so right, this surgery is awesome!
