6 months y'all...
I am "normal" !!!! Ha ha. Or so the medical community says...
Had my 6 month check in yesterday at the clinic...down 98 lbs so far. I WANT THOSE OTHER 2 LBS more than any of the other pounds I have lost so far!!! There's something about 100 lbs lost that is significant to me, not sure if it's because it's a nice tidy # or what...
All my lab values were totally smack dab in the middle of the normal range. The WLS team there gushed over me and the change in my appearance, and reassured me that this tool will continue to work, and I will continue to lose weight...I was like, "hmm....ok, maybe"...I am a skeptic. Those last 35 lbs will be earned, and I know that...
They took my picture (again), put it with my first pre-op picture, wow, I could even see a difference, they keep them in my file so the surgeon can see them. Hilarious.
Anyway, here's to hoping months 6-9 are exciting for us as the first 6 were, I know my own mental fortitude has taken a bit of a dip, and I am working on that as well.
