Changes in Hair
I have noticed mine is more difficult to style. Seems to have a mind of its own no matter what I do. I'm experiencing a huge hair loss though and plan to get it cut pretty soon. Most likely a shorter style so that the new growth blends in and it doesn't look as...stringy(?) as it does now. You probably wouldn't say that if you've never met me before, but those who do know me have noticed the difference. I joke with my husband that the last 5 lbs I lost was all hair. I say try and not fight the hair, find out which direction it wants to go and go with it. Resistance is futile.
I started losing my hair about a month ago - and what is still with me has changed texture. I try not to freak out about it, because I know it will quit at some point (I already have baby hair growing in). It's just very nerve wracking to pull out a pile of hair from the bathroom strainer. When I went to the salon, they put in a protein supplement which helped a lot. I have also started using a leave-in conditioner made for hair loss.
Hope that helps!

my surgery was Jan 9th and I have always 'shed' alot but it's gotten RIDICULOUS lately!!! I'll literally pull out a huge ball of hair every day - especially in the shower! It's gotten bad enough where I can see it thinning in the front and it's really starting to bother me--- any suggestions of things to try - I'm taking biotin hoping that will help.... but I don't really know what else to do except to wait it out but I get worried that it will keep on thinning with the rest of me!
