I'm usually pretty good about eating what I'm supposed to. I think the worst I've eaten is, once I ate the insides of a burrito supreme from Taco Bell, sugar free York peppermint patties...useless calories, and 2 or 3 times, I had half a broasted potato with sour cream. Not to say that I haven't been tempted...believe me! I'm just enjoying my loss and would like to keep it that way...I don't want food controlling me anymore. Although, there are occasions where I get up in the middle of the night and eat...I get hungry. It doesn't matter that I'm eating the right things if I still have my bad habits. I know I should just drink something then instead of eating, but that's where I'm weak. I'm working on it. As for cravings...yeah, I have a TON. Buffalo wings, chocolate cake, twinkies, Arby's (hated it before...but looks soooo good now), chex mix, YES, CEREAL!!, and bbq chips. Pizza, chinese food, pasta...lol. I could go on forever! Great post...I wonder how many will fess up.

You can look at our SC board....we have a running post on what some people eat during the course of a day to give you an idea of what others eat. I know it has helped me. Jennifer

For breakfast I have protein hot cocoa. For lunch at work, I eat from where everyone else orders from. Wendy's I've had chili, or chili, chips and cheese and only eat a few chips that are soggy. Arby's I eat about half of the insides of a beef and cheddar. McDonalds, I eat the meat from a small hamburger. At night I want to graze though. Last night I had about a cup of popcorn. Sometimes I have two sugar free cookies or a sugar free piece of candy. I do eat protein bars if I want something sweet too. I have eaten some real sugar. Only a bite at a time. Don't want to force it. Really, I 've found out that a bite really is enough. Someone once told me that the last bite tastes just as good as the first, so why eat more than one bite. Works for me.

Hi Brina, I had about 1/4 of a good size pancake today. I had a soft taco last nightI have had a couple of gold fish, and sugar free andes mints. Oh I had 2 graham crackers last night. That is the bad stuff. I normally keep to protein and veggies. I have chicken, tuna, shrimp, fish, beef jerky, scallops. I eat chili homemade and wendy's. I still do my protein shakes and the protein shooters. I stick to dark green veggies. Mostly broccoli. I have had some MAJOR cravings over the weekend. Chocolate, marshmellows, soda. I took my son camping with cub scouts and it was hard as far as food goes. Corinn

Hi Brina. I honestly don't eat anything I shouldn't b/c I still have something in my diet that I include everyday that gets me through. It is that Iced Mocha/Khalua recipe I posted a while back. I know many of you aren't on shakes any more but I believe it helps curb the sweet cravings. I also make pumpkin fluff which is outstanding for the sweet tooth. You can eat it alone or add protein powder to it to "beef" it up a little. It is just SF cool whip, SF butterscotch pudding, canned pumpkin and pumpkin spice. It is wonderful. I do go to starbucks on occasion but what I order I do NOT feel like I am "cheating". I get a Sugar free Cinnamon Dolce, small, decaf, nonfat or soy milk lattee, NO whip cream. So the only thing that has calories in it is the milk. If you get a small its 90 cals and any sugar that is in it is from the lactose of the milk, that's it. So if you are really craving this, I say go for it, it is really not evil if you drink milk everyday. Otherwise a 1/4 to a 1/2 of an apple with a tbsp of peanut butter in place of a meal is a wonderful choice or inbetween meals if I really needing something I will take 3 large strawberries, put some splenda on top and a squirt of FF rhediwhip. The whole thing has like 30 cals. You cannot beat that and very few carbs in those strawberries, maybe 1 per strawberry. I will also post the recipe to my outstanding iced coffee drink below. To me if it helps stay on track, then it is still worth doing. I tried to go without it and found I munched more. Also the cookies and cream from Matrix is outstanding also! Iced Mocha/Khalua Frappacinno Ingredients: 8 oz of milk (I use light soy milk) 1 decaf Folgers coffee tea bag (yes they make these and for some reason it tastes the best) 3/4 scoop of choc protein powder 1 small dab of sugar free khalua davinci syrup optional squirt of light whipping cream (Rhedi whip makes one that is fat free, 5 cals, and 1 sugar per serving). ***I get all the ingredients at walmart, except the chocolate protein powder I get at Costco, Sportpharma brand. You can use whatever chocolate protein powder you have on hand though. How I do it: I use the magic bullet, you can also use a blender. I pour my milk, protein powder and small dab of syrup together. I then put that aside. I then take 3 oz of water and boil it in the microwave and then add my folgers decaf tea bag to this. I use a spoon to really smoo**** and get all the coffee flavor out of it for a minute. Then I add some ice cubes to cool this mixture off. Makes about 6 oz of fluid. Then I add this to my mixture and then blend it real well. I pour this over ice, add a squirt of whip and wala!!! It is soooooooooooooo yummy!!!

MMMM I am gonna hafta try that Mocha thing, it sounds awesome. I have been doing ok to curb my cravings but they hit hard sometime. I am still on the pikk line so I have not lost any weight in 4 weeks but they said I should expect that. I think the cravings are hitting because of the change in weather here. This is the time of year I usually started baking alot and barbecuing, ergo the bbq chips. Thanks for the honest posts, it is good to be honest with ourselves and not feel guilty inside. Eating those chips was killing me inside until I posted, now I feel like " ok I did it and now it is over". Huggs 2 ya'all Brina

Can I ask why you still have a pikk line in...I had complications at first which really slowed my losing down in the beginning and I had a pikk line for around 2 weeks since I had absecces (sp) on my spleen. Good Luck to you
