Hey, y'all! I just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. Is it just me, or is everyone else feeling the best they've felt in a long time... if not ever?? I'm down about 62 pounds since surgery (108 since my highest weight), and have about 90 pounds to go before I hit my goal weight. I haven't been at 280 (where I am now) for over 3 years!!! One of the main issues I'm having is with the scale. My husband bought us one of the older, step-on-the-platform-and-watch-the-needle-spin kinds, and I think that it's pretty unreliable. It's saying that I'm about 5 pounds less than the scale at my inlaws tells me I am... and that's the one that is most like my surgeon's. Also, I need to work on my water intake. I don't get anywhere near the 60 oz. I'm supposed to get, and I don't want to develop kidney stones later from this. I just don't see how to get it all in! Am I supposed to have a water bottle strapped to me 24/7?! Well, that's all for now. HOORAY FOR DECEMBER BABIES!!!!!!

Hi Krystal,Awsome job there!! I hear you on the scale thing,I got one of those old hospital ones where you slide the little weight thing across, and I think its 5lbs off as well. Before surgery I couldn't even weigh myself on it I had to go to a truck stop scale,YES,you heard right lol, At my old job it has scales for weighing out trucks after we load them with lumber, thats how I had to weigh myself when I had to grrr lol,But now,I can use the hospital scale like a normal heavy person woohoo!! lol. On the water you and I are alike, just cant seem to get enough of it like I should, the Doctor told me I need to strap a water bottle on me,but Its hard to remember to ge****er down,Well enough babbling, try and get tha****er intake and I'll will try myself.Take care and Godbless. Hi Krystal, Yes, I take water everywhere with me. At work and home, I bought those mugs from Walmart and keep them filled with water. I carry the crystal light packets with me and when I go to lunch, I get a to go cup with water, mix it up before I start eating and then set my clock for 30 mins later so that I can start drinking. It really seems to help. You have done great with your weight loss!! I have been kinda slow this last month but know that I am doing the right things, I just need to pump up the exercise. Good luck to you and I agree, your scale probably needs to be replaced. I bought mine about a year ago on Ebay-it was brand new and digital- I paid 18.99 for it. Its one of those glass models and pretty nice and accurate. They also have them at bed, bath and beyond, and they mail those 20% off coupons that really help with the cost. Angela

Hi Krystal you are doing really great on your weight loss It's nice to see numbers you haven't seen in awhile. I was thinking about getting the kind of scale that you have because I thought the digital ones were not accurate sometimes I have to step on it a few times to get a reading I can't look down right away have to count to 10 then look if I look up and not straight ahead got to step off and start all over again. I think I should get a new one but for now I put it away because it was very stressful when the numbers were staying the same. It is very hard to get the water in now. Before wls it seems as though I was always drinking water now I don't get thirsty at all. I found that if I can get four 16oz bottles of water in I am all set. What really works for me is if I start drinking when I first wake up and then one after breakfast lunch and dinner.

Krystal, don't we all have a love-hate relationship with our scales? You are doing fabulous, congratulations!! Hope that your exercising is going better than mine. Stress levels at my job (as well as my hours) have increased and I'm so tired when I get home that I'm not exercising as often as before when we were posting about it. But now that I have seen recent photos of myself I am more motivated to get to it more often, definitely the pilates! I bought a glass scale that is a lithium-type and I can get a different reading on it wherever I place it in the bathroom so I usually try it at least 3 times and then take an average. Not accurate, but it works for my brain. I ditto the water comments, strap that bottle to your side! I don't go anywhere without my juice water or a cup of herbal tea. You have to be sipping all the time, girl! Hope you are having a lovely spring. I don't have the same strength I used to have but do have more energy when I start a project. Unfortunately I wear out faster and get so much more tired, it seems but at least I bounce back faster. And boy, is it easier to go up and down stairs. Woohoo!!! Molly
