Are you including your preop weight loss in your totals?

When I went to my Dr. for my 3 months she said I was down 76 and I said well 20 of that was the 2 week pre diet and she said I count from when I weighed you here for your consol. appt. so that is part of why I count it. I am THRILLED to be down 83 or 63 whoever you want to count it A loss is a LOSS in my book. Good Luck to ALL of us

Like you, and most everyone else here (!), I just keep my 'total' weight loss in mind, but I say it in a different way... since I love seeing the shocked looks on my friends faces: "Yeah, I've lost about 108 pounds... with 62 of that since the surgery." So, as you can see, we're together on the 60-ish pound weight loss! My surgeon told me that, as long as I'm still losing about 10 pounds a month until I hit my goal, it's considered an immense success. YOU'RE DOING GREAT!
