Are you including your preop weight loss in your totals?

I only count what I've lost since surgery. WTG at your loss!!!!

i didn't loose anything pre-op. i had no pre-op diet b/c at 38`BMI i barely qualified as is BMI my doctor didn't want me to loose weigh prior to surgery. of course, being the idiot that i am, i ate everything in sight and probably managed to put on another 10 lbs in 4 weeks immediately before my WLS. LOL,Too funny I too did the same thing before surgery.My wife thought I was crazy for doing it,but oh well lol,I figured I might as well get what I can down before I had to go to sugery

Hi Melissa: I am counting my weight from the day I walked out of the hospital, and into a new opportunity at a healthier lifestyle. I had to lose weight pre-op, but do not count it. I haven't weight yet this morning (I weigh on Mondays), but I am down 64 post op so far. Have a great day all, Megan

Megan, I love your new avatar pic, what a difference. You are doing fantastic!!! I am now down 64 pounds since surgery, seems we all on track for the most part, I might be a little slower, but that is OK since I lost so much preop. Congrats to you on that new face!!! I count my loss from my weight on surgery day, 81 pounds so far!!!

I count mine.........I would not have lost it if I was not having the surgery. I am 61 since surgery and 20 before so if someone ask me how much I lost I say 81 Congratulations

I also include my pre-op weight loss as it was lost during my 5% requirement for insurance. So, if we want to be technical, I've lost 77 post-op and 89 overall. Vicki
